Never sell your stuff here. Clothes are one thing. However, I took a travel system that was in EXCELLENT condition there for them to sell. After you drop it off, they put a price on it, and once it sells you get half of the money. I ended up going to pick it back up because it hadnt sold and I was giving it to a friend who needed it instead. When I arrived, the worker had told me it was outside and I was good to go. I walked out there to only notice one base with it, when I had dropped off two. So, I walked back in and she asked me if I needed something, in a rude tone. I told her a base was missing. She mentioned it was probably with the pile of bases in the corner. I looked. It wasnt. She took my name and number for someone else to call me about it because it wasnt in the store. When I went outside to get the travel system, it was SOAKED! Soaking wet. I understand rain happens, but this wet was at least from the day before so they LEFT it in the rain. If it just rained a few minutes before they brought the strollers in, it would not have been that wet. I had left the manuals with the system, which when I picked them up, they were scrunched up and hardened from being wet. I took it and went home because I wasnt going to deal with Mrs. Personality again. The next day another lady called and asked about the base. I told her what she wanted to know and then brought up the stroller. She was very nice and said shed leave my name with the owner. The owner called back a few hours later with a sense of rush. She said bases sell for $10 by themselves so shed give me $5. Notice, this was a Graco Clicktight base. Much more than $5. I could have sold it elsewhere for more than $5! Then, with a ton of attitude, she informed me that all the strollers got wet and it happens. She said she would give me $25 for the Issue. I didnt reply right away because she had just thrown numbers my way and I was thinking about it before speaking and she didnt like that. She spoke right up and said "we are only doing this to make you happy. We never do this." Lady, I left my stroller for you guys to sell. You didnt owe it and you ruined it. It was stained and smelly, and for those who know, car seat straps are not supposed to be submerged completely so new straps had to be ordered and PAID for because they were irresponsible. Not only were they irresponsible, but VERY RUDE! Dont go or shop here.

I wouldnt pay attention to any review past three years ago because let me tell you, this place is phenomenal. I dont normally leave reviews, although I do read them. The owner, Meghan, and her representative, Kris, were both equally as fantastic to interact with in regards to my shopping here. I can honestly say that they both went above and beyond measure to take care of me and my needs. You dont always expect that kind of customer service from a consignment shop, lets be real. And while were on the subject, lets talk consignment, shall we? Im not just impressed with the customer service here. This store is a gem when it comes to toys and clothes! Gently used is an understatement! They take excellent care of their merchandise as well as their customers! And if you have toddler clothes or toys that you need to get rid of, they will buy them from you, AND pay up front! Please, no junk. Use good judgement and check this place out!

I have shopped here a number of times over the past two years. I havent really had much trouble with customer service other than there is usually only one person working while there are several customers wanting to check out. The prices are reasonable and I have purchased various items for my older children that like the name brands. I have never consigned here because I was told by the associate that they really only take high end name brands. I dont usually waste my money on those unless they are used. Although most of the items on the racks were not any high end brands that I recognized, I have found a few good deals. Absolutely the best thing about Your Turn Kids is the location. It is one of very few shops to buy pre-owned childrens items in Towne Lake and Woodstock.

I drove all the way out there, after having called and checked the website to make sure I was doing everything right, only to find out that she "didnt have time for me" and Id have to leave my entire tub of clothing for several days, until she got around to it. No receipt, no item count, nothing was offered to me in return for some very nice kids things, and since I was leaving on a trip in a few days and had no idea when shed be calling me, I left with my tub. The shop was attractive and clean and appears to have nice things, but wont for long unless they get a more professional system for receiving items!

I absolutely LOVE Your Turn Kids! Its my go-to place for purchasing nice, gently used clothing and toys for my grandchildren. The owner couldnt be any more accomodating. Actually, I have found all the staff there to be very friendly and helpful. I drive 2 hours to this location at least 3 or 4 times a year and stock up on name brand clothing at very reasonable prices. Cant say enough good things about Meghan and her staff! They always treat me right

I think the handful of times I have been in there I have been greeted one time. Thats about rude. I have taken clothes in to be consigned before all name brands all in great condition but nothing was taken. Everything could be atleast five dollars cheaper and the owner should put out a coupon or frequent shoppers card or something. Just because its Towne Lake doesnt mean you have to be snooty.

HORRIBLE service! Very rude cashier BOTH times weve been since new management. Very stuck up... odd, considering there were no high end brand names through the very bare rack. Ive been to high end boutiques where the employees were much more polite and happy to take my money. I wouldnt waste the time to shop there again. (and I used to be a loyal customer)

My wife and I try to check out Your Turn Kids before buying things brand new. Our two sons out grow their clothes/toys/accessories so fast that the things we do buy are in pretty great shape. So this place never disappoints AND THE STAFF IS ALWAYS WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY! Save some money, shop from your community!
