My experience here was a nightmare. I made an appointment and me and my mom showed up on time. The first thing the girl at the desk asked was what my budget was. We had to wait several minutes for our consultant Genine to come down to meet us which was no big deal. She also asked what my budget was and to see some pictures of wedding dress styles that I had in mind so I showed her. We went upstairs to the wedding dress department and she let me browse through some of the dresses. I chose two dresses, but when I walked into the dressing room there was at least five other dresses I didnt choose hanging up. She said she chose these based on the pictures I showed her which was fine and she said lets try those on first. I was wearing a bra with straps and for each dress she had me take my arms out of the sleeves and tuck the straps into the sides of the dresses which didnt look right. I wouldve thought they would have had some kind of strapless bra or something for me to wear while trying them on, but that wasnt too big a deal either. She was nice and talked to me while we put on dresses so Ill give her that. Twice I said that I liked one thing about a dress so she said "oh, then youd like this dress" and leave the dressing room and come back with yet another of her choosing. I only kind of liked one of the dresses she picked and after trying on a few after that one, she said "lets try on the one you liked again" and I said that I would try that one on again last to which she responded "well, we only have time for one more dress before my next person comes". I was like "but I didnt get to try on the two that I picked!" So I ended up only getting to try on one of the two that I picked. Not only that, but we wasted so much time trying on the dresses she chose that I didnt get to look at the rest of their wedding dress selection. And there were a few dresses that I tried on, looked in the mirror, and immediately said that I didnt like them and she said "well lets go out and show your mom anyway." I didnt mind at the time, but looking back on it, that was a total waste of time! Of course I didnt find a dress there because all the dresses I tried on but one were chosen for me. Just an awful experience, sorry to say.

My visit was wonderful. My consultant was very nice, helpful, and just helped to provide a wonderful experience. I wouldve reccomended Fabulous to everyone I knew. I wish they had a few more gowns to choose from in the lower price range, both in bridal and bridesmaids. I also wish they carried a few larger sample sizes. That wouldve perfected the experience. They were wonderful about giving me some discounts to get the price down to something I could afford, and I appreciated that a great deal and how nice everyone was. However, when I bought my dress (paid in full when I ordered it by the way), I paid extra to have it rushed, and was promised that it would be here in 8 weeks. I have this in writing. I was told that they spoke with someone at the designer who promised the dress would be here within that 8 week rush. I was told that I just had to order that day, before a certain time, in order to ensure my dress would be here within 8 weeks, AND to make an appointment with a seamstress for alterations based on the promise of the dress being here within 8 weeks. Its passed 8 weeks. The dress isnt here. It didnt even ship until the 8 week mark, and while it may arrive in the store today, they close at 5 and I wont be able to pick it up until Wednesday or Thursday, that is provided that it actually gets there today. My wedding is less than two weeks away, and I still have to get my dress altered. I wouldnt be nearly as upset if I didnt feel like that 8 week promise had been hammered into me to get a sale. The fact that the dress wasnt here when promised and the girls at the store didnt really seem to care that it wouldnt be here on time, has just left a bad taste in my mouth and cheapened the whole experience. I cant even go up to pick it up on Wed or Thur because I work and am on-call. I cant leave my county. Well see if it gets any better, but Im not holding my breath.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. My mother and I drove from Louisville to Fabulous Bridal for my first appointment looking for a wedding dress. I can’t remember the name of the woman who helped me. She was nice but did not seem interested in what I was looking for or what I wanted. First things first, she knew what my budget was when we arrived because we had to fill out a form online telling them and she kept putting me in dresses that were DOUBLE what my budget was! She put one dress on me that I loved and I came out to show my mother. The consultant watched us both fall in love with it, she even put a veil and everything on me….and THEN she told us the price…that was MORE THAN DOUBLE my budget!! Needless to say I was peeved and so was my mother. She told my mother and me that we would look for more dresses and then once I got back to the dressing room she pretty much rushed me out and the appointment was just over. I definitely did not enjoy my experience and I probably will not recommend this shop to anyone. I have no doubt that some people have had great experiences here but I certainly did not.

We had a fabulous experience purchasing the bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses too. We came back later for the veil the day we picked up the gown. Unfortunately, we did not realize the veil did not match the gown until the day of the wedding, after most of the professional photographs were taken. The dress was ivory and the color of the veil ordered was called white. In the store, we did not see how brilliant the white veil was compared to the dress and we expected that Fabulous would have guided us to matching colors. After viewing the photograph we sent them, they said they would order it exactly the same again. We were disappointed in this response and both the bride and mother have this one regret from the wedding. So my advice to you would be to double check your colors, especially in a variety of light and be aware that colors may not match. You have to be your own advocate for this as Fabulous will not take responsibility for making sure the colors match.

Ill try to keep this short. Was in town for the day looking at dresses and randomly went to Fabulous Bridal. Elizabeth was my consultant and she was AWESOME. She listened to what I wanted, pulled only one dress, and with that one dress I was in tears and shaking. She was so sweet and so helpful. The dress was higher than what I wanted to spend, but the store helped me and did everything they could so I could afford it. The store is gorgeous and the service is incredible. We were offered champagne which was a very elegant touch. I am extremely picky and I am going into the wedding industry as a career and I will recommend this store to anyone looking for a dress. I live in Columbus, but it was well worth the almost 2 hour drive. I will for sure be going back there to get my bridesmaids dresses for the "Maids Party" they offer. If you want awesome personalized service and to be treated like a princess, then this is THE place.
