The worker was VERY rude and short with me And family when asking where the restroom was saying he has to repeat it twenty times a day and just being rude about it. Then when asked about a particular author in stock without hesitating he told us they didnt carry that authors books as if it was an insult. We quickly left the building and have never felt so uncomfortable in a store. We will not be back and drove a long way to go to that particular store looking for a certain author. With such rude staff I cant see why anyone would shop there.

I dont know who the twitchy little twerp who works there is (not the owner I discovered) but he was so rude to another customer while we were there that we put down our books and left. Not sure why he hasnt learned not to insult a book store customer who has literary questions. The customer simply wanted some information about a style of literature, not to have his intelligence or level of sophistication called into question in a very very embarrassing manner. We will NOT be back.

If youre the sort of book lover who likes lots of used books in somewhat tight quarters, this is a good place to stop by. Not a huge inventory, but lots of interesting finds, plenty of local/state history and lit, some old and rare books, lots of other stuff. Also quite a few vintage kids books, Nancy Drew, Bobbsey Twinds, etc. Very friendly service, they obviously know their books and can dish out good recommendations.

Awesome bookstore. I went in looking for a few Harry Potter books, thinking I would leave with some used paperbacks. The clerk showed me to several used hardcover copies in great condition still with dust jackets that looked awesome. Ill be very pleased to add to my collection. This a place for real readers and the help you get when you go in is proof of that.

A century old building crammed full of books, some old, used,antique, rare, collectible. The staff headed by "Joni," is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They have special ordered books for me that was almost impossible to find. I rate this shop FIVE STARS *****-EXCELLENT!!!

The Book Lady is a small quaint bookstore, with a surprisingly large selection. The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cool, relaxing, and inviting. Comfortable chairs to settle in and browse through your book selections.

First and last time I will ever go there. The boy working in the front was unnecessarily rude from the moment we walked in the door. Completely turned me off from wanting to look at any selection they had. Taking my business elsewhere.

Do Littles

One of the best bookstores we have been to. All that is needed is a couple of outdoor tables to enjoy their coffee and read. The ambience is the right mix of organization of categories, with slight chaos that makes browsing a treat

Extremely helpful when looking for non fiction also! They were able to suggest a Christmas gift for my father, a political biography, and for my boyfriend, a history of the city. Great experience.

This shop was pointed out ti us by one of the trolley tours drivers. Great store -- good local section, small but eclectic childrens section, and well organized everything else.
