It doesnt matter who you are, "having" to go to a Pawn shop is often times an embarrassing or humiliating situation. You know going in, that the people working there have heard it all over and over again! I sat in my car contemplating what I was going to say because I was embarrassed as I was in an "I need it now "type situation. I decided to just tell it like it was and be it what it may. I was pleasantly surprised that the shop was well designed - neat- clean as can be, and the moment you walk in you are welcomed ! The day I went in they were extremely busy, but the professional team managed to multi task and treat everyone with dignity and respect. I must commend Joseph for being a true gentleman, a great listener and a fair businessman . He not only spent nearly two hours working with me but he seemed to genuinely care about the outcome of my transaction. He guided me in the differences between selling and a loan and I was again surprised at the lowest interest rate around. They will also discount should you pay off within the 30 days!! I realize this is a long review, but felt the goodness of Joseph and his staff deserving of it. So if you are in a " need it now" position- Silver Dollar will not only put you at ease, but will make you the best possible offer and you will leave with your head held high and feeling like youve made a long time friend. I saw people coming in to make payments or just to say hello and watched as they were greeted by their first names, asked how they and or their families were doing- heard people thanking the staff for the great product they bought etc. Thank you Joseph and everyone at Silver Dollar Pawn for helping me through a tough time and not making me feel embarrassed or humiliated. I HIGHLY recommend Silver Dollar Pawn.

I have to say, I was very skeptical/intimidated about going into a pawn shop, and I rarely write reviews. I felt compelled to write this, because of the unexpected service I experienced today. A friend of mine who has done business with Joseph for several years recommended I go see him. I recently lost my job(two months ago), so I decided to take my friends advice. From the bottom of my heart, I cant think Joseph enough. I was embarrassed upon walking in, because of the situation I am currently in, but after a couple minutes of speaking with Joseph, he truly put me at ease. I have a fairly large diamond that was passed down to me, and I really didnt want to sell it, because of sentimental reasons. Joseph explained the loan process to me, and gave me a great interest rate. Since I have never done this before, I didnt know if the rate was that great or not, but I needed the money, so I really had no choice. Later that day, I made a couple calls to other pawn shops, and was sincerely surprised at how fairly Joseph treated me, especially as someone who has never done this before. His rate was definitely the best. While I hope to be out of this situation soon, I would have no hesitation in recommending Joseph and doing business with him again in the future. The level of compassion he showed me during this embarrassing situation is a testament to his character. From the very bottom of my heart, Thank you Joseph!

This store is absolutely wonderful! The staff is very friendly and always willing to assist you, not to mention the layout is beautifully designed and always clean!!!! They make it a point to remember customers names, which is very uncommon these days. I was in need of a few gifts for family members and they help me pick out the right items, and of course I stayed within budget. Anyone that is looking for jewelry, coins, and electronics, needs to visit the Silver Dollar. I was blown away by their jewelry collection, which is at a fraction of the cost. Dont pay more somewhere else, come visit this store and see the true meaning of customer service and help support a locally owned family business. I cant wait to go back and see the new items they have put out!!!!!

I had a firearm sent to SDP since they were listed as an FFL necessary to receive a firearm ordered online. The company I ordered the rifle from forgot to sent their info to necessitate the transaction, so I was prepared to go home with nothing, disappointed that I rushed over to get new gun. Even though I arrived 15 minutes before they closed, the owner went out of his way to contact the company, have them email the info they forgot in the first place, and stay late after there was a slight delay in the background check. As someone who delivers excellent service daily in a high-end industry, I was thrilled to witness the type of service that I strive to give. These guys are 1st class and shatter the stereotypical pawn shop. EXCELLENT service, thanks so much!!

I was so impressed with Silver Dollar. We walked in hoping to find an adequate engagement ring and walked absolutely delighted with what we were able to find there. There was a huge selection for just about any price range, making it easy to find just what we wanted. The staff was knowledgable and very helpful. Ive never been into a pawn shop as nice as this one and it changed my whole outlook on what a pawn shop can be! If I were to need a computer or any more jewelry, I would definitely check here first. Thanks again for getting me a ring I feel so dang happy about it. Truly something that will last us a lifetime!

They were everything a pawn shop should be. Its extremely nice & organized inside. I also was blown away by their antique inventory. From furniture, to coins even a neat cash register for sale. Plus the discounted loan before 7 days is awesome. Definitely recommend them over the cash america half a mile away. Who claimed my item to be fake without even testing it, which visually contained an emerald, diamonds, all held together with 14 k gold. And based on the amount and type of inventory they had, they cant afford to be profiling people trying to better their situation /:

Silver Dollar is a First Class Pawn Shop! I decided to stop by and check out some of their deals on guns, and was able to save loads of money. All their guns are kept in pristine order, and they have a surprisingly large selection. Also, Joseph and his staff are very professional, really know what they are talking about, and made me a great deal. Store is very clean, organized, stocked, and they really make you feel comfortable shopping there. This store exemplary and how a Pawn Shop should be run. I will be coming back for my Xbox one. I chose this establishment because it had a 5 star rating so I wanted to see for myself if it was true, and it is, I went in this week after being rear ended by another motorists and needed some cash fast - this was my first experience and Joseph was the one that waited on me and little did I know - hes the owner. I would recommend this establishment to anyone especially to women who are a little leary of being taken advantage of - not here and not by Joseph. I promise you ladies that is safe to go here. Silver Dollar Pawn - YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!
