This place is run by criminals. Jay, the manager, will lie straight to your face and refuse to give you paperwork proving you were there unless you call the police (which I did). He confirmed my order of 2 new front tires and told me to come back in 2 hours. I came back early to see all 4 tires off my vehicle. Jay said he "assumed" I wanted 4 tires changed. THEN HE TELLS ME THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE 2 TIRES IN STOCK! When I asked him why he didnt call me to tell me this or why he had his guys even TOUCH my vehicle when he KNEW they didnt have the tires... he straight up IGNORED me and WALKED AWAY. He knew I had caught him, and he thought that because Im a young woman, he could take advantage of me and get away with it. He also didnt think I would call the county sheriff. You should not have to call the police to mediate your communication with a manager at Pep Boys. But here? Expect the worst. This place needs to be investigated. There is something really sketchy happening here and theyre traumatizing people who are already under a great deal of stress that comes with finding repairs for your car. Its sick, really. This place really showed me the absolute depravity of the human race.

Absolutely deplorable business! My friend left his car to have the brakes worked on. They quoted him $1,600 for the repairs. Obviously not having the money set aside for that costly of a repair job he told them he would be by the next day to pickup the car. Without giving a written estimate for repairs (which is required by law) and without receiving an oral or written consent to have repairs done they performed the work anyways. That is ILLEGAL in Georgia! They then proceeded to require payment for the services nonconsensually performed which is also ILLEGAL. Sadly my friend feeling like his car was held hostage payed what they asked just so he could have his vehicle back. I will be approaching the business as well as corporate about the matter on my friends behalf. If they do not right this wrong THEY WILL BE TAKEN TO COURT. I WILL ENSURE EVERYONE I SPEAK TO KNOWS HOW AWFUL OF A CONPANY THEY ARE AND THAT THEY SHOULD NEVER GIVE THEM THEYRE BUSINESS. I will update this review pending my further interaction with the business.

I had tires put on my gmc Denali , I asked for them not to use an impact gun for fear of them damaging this light studs, well the used it any ways, and no surprise they broke a lug nut off, they also broke a center cap on my wheels. Then I take it to get the tires balanced because they didnt do that either and they called me a liar and are extremely rude. Then I receive a call from my fiance saying that lugnuts are falling off our truck and someone at a stop light stopped her and let her know. My family is in that truck my two daughters and my son. I dont know what I would have done had they been injured in an accident, rude customer service aside, safety is my main concern and I need some answers. If you love your familys safety do not get any work done here.

DO NOT take your vehicle to this place. The lack of professionalism and business practices are deplorable. Yesterday They left my keys in my car and my car running with the windows down for 3 1/2 to 4 hours unattended. The worker had no idea where my keys were when I went to pick up my car. I went outside and found them in my running car. They made no apologies only excuses. This morning I went to crank up my car and it would start. I was late for a teaching conference I had booked. I called cooperate only to be brushed off and told they had 24 to 48hrs for management to get in contact with me. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!

Left grease foot prints all on my carpet and then broke two of my hubcaps. When I told them they didnt even offer to replace them. The manager just stood there and then change the conversation to me needing struts. Lastly, I went in there to have my tires rotated and one of the salesman wouldnt do it. He said it hadnt been long enough since my last rotate. True, but at the time I was driving 400 miles a week and judging by my tire wear and ride quality it was time. I went to school for automotive and worked in the field for almost ten years and this is one of the worst shops Ive seen.

I made an appointment online because my schedule is busy. I arrived no such appointment existed in their system, not to mention the price I was quoted online was not what they were trying to charge me. Excuse after excuse and my relentless insistence the manager made it right. If you truly believe in customer service stand behind EVERYTHING your company says and live by your word. I was very disappointed and despite John the managers involvement to eventually correct it I will not be returning for any future needs.

Bad customer service. I went to them for a flat repair and they turned me away, which is one thing, but the guy at the counter was very rude about it. Tried to give them another chance and called to ask about tune up/diagnostics and whoever answered the phone was rude again, huffing and puffing every time I asked a question (I only asked 3). Ill be talking my business elsewhere and referring elsewhere as well.

Busted my hub caps and did not offer to compensate me and leave grease foot prints on my floor mats. Furthermore, I wanted to get my tires rotated one day and the manager refused. He said its only been few months (FYI that true but I drive 500 miles a week). My tires on the front were obviously a little lower on tread. Conclusion: There is plenty other competitors to have your car worked.

My car is in worse shape & Im more worried about it breaking down now then before I took it to pepboys. Its even more disappointing because in 1987 my family was moved to Ga & my ex step dad was a manager eventually ran the training school for pepboys. I remember when pepboys cared about doing good work & trained their people, now Im just one more person adding to all the negative reviews.

All was fine until one of the mechanics went for a "test drive" after an alignment absolutely flooring my subcompact to the red line right in front of me. The car recently had overheating problems, I dont understand why would anyone need to redline a car and proceed to drive it rough during a past-allignment test drive. Sounds more like a joyride in a customers car to me. Unprofessional.

Take your vechical here if you want to be lied to and overcharged. The people seem nice but spend any time in the waiting area you figure out that there jerks making fun of you in a nice way. Im glad i took my vechical someplace else saved me over $500 then what these money hungry con men at pep boys quoted me.

Great service. They take the time to explain the repairs, and theyre not pushy on recommended service (unless its a safety issue). I dont normally trust the big-name stores, but Pep Boys has earned our business while we live in Newnan.
