I love the store I always shop at the location in Smyrna. On August 27th 2016 I went to the one at 850 Dogwood Road Lawrenceville and had a bad experience with this cashier and other associates. I purchasing Jumex Nectar fruit drinks the price said 1@$0.59 cents each (2/$1.00) for a dollar. I bought 10 dollars worth which is 20 cans. The cashier rang up all twenty cans at .59 each, I pointed out her error and she stated that it was only one particular item thats two for a dollar they were all same brand just different flavors so I took her mistake to the manager he would not even come out of the office, after going through explaining the error Teresa Ani made and didnt want to correct i spoke to several other Associates from customer service they backed he up even through my receipt shows what the sign said, I just got fed up and return every item I bought there I will continue to shop at my store in Smyrna where to customer service is beautiful and they treat their customers like theyre supposed to be treated Im spending my hard earned money I dont need to be robbed.

Ive shopped at this location for the last few months because its closer than the Duluth location. All of my dogs are on a raw diet and they have great prices here and a variety that is needed for a raw diet, but after tonights experience I will never patronize this location again. I arrived at 9:43pm and as I approached the shoppi carts an employee said "you dont need a cart because you only have 2 minutes to get in and out". I said "dont you all close at 10?". His reply " employees leave at 10 sir ". I again asked if they close at 10. He said " our sign says 10, but per my manager no customer come in after 9:45 but we re open at 8 am" he puts his hands in my face. At this point Im visibly agitated and ask him to refrain from putting his hands in my face and he says " I use my hands when I talk" . Lol horrible service. I dont expect A-1 service here but this was absolutely ridiculous. Also, I understand them wanting to go home at a decent hour, but in that case they should just change their posted hours.

The Lawrenceville store smells bad, is filthy and old. It was disgusting! This was my first time in a Nam Dae Mun store. I saw unwrapped raw beef in the refrigerated section, and a package of feta cheese open dumped out. It looks like it had been sitting there for a while. It was a mess! The fresh corn was old. The bottoms of the stalks were moldy, brown and dry....probably a picked months back!!! Great price on strawberries...if you want to eat moldy ones. 3 employees came running through the store making a ruckus. Im assuming they were either late for work or late coming back from a break. I was not impressed. Its too bad, because the idea of the store is great.

Went there at 9:50pm store closes at 10pm I was treated rude by the start, I explained to them I was there to pick up my wife who was shopping in line, I explained to the cashier that technically, I still had 10 minutes to shop, that cashier said they close at 9:45 PM to count out, I said I am a manager as well in retail, if your store says open to 10pm the customer is allowed to shop and cash out is done after, very rude, I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior towards a customer in my life both as a manager and a customer this market should be ashamed of it self!

I like this store alot. The problem is most of the things people look for are expired and I guess it is legal to sell expired items. I take back the beer I just bought that is expired and they are not happy to exchange or return. And of course the prices are pretty high that is why the items are not selling within expiration date. At least "give" it away by discounting it before it goes bad. Try to at least get your money back Nam Dae mun and dont try to scam your customers with expired goods.

THIS WAS A TERRIBLE EXPIRIENECE! MY FAMILY AND I CAME AND WENT TO TJE SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT AT 7:20 there was a sign that said cutting and cleaning closes at 8:00 PM.Then this rude and merciless manager comes up and says that they close at 7:30 ,so we politely asked could you please just try we have to have it now. THEN HE RUDELY BEGAN YELLING SAYING HE DOESNT CARE AND MY MOM WAS THEN INSULTED MANY TIMES AT WHICH THE MANAGER THEN DIDNT HELP DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANTED DECENT SERVICE

This place says they close at 10:00 today but when I got there at 9:40 and they say we about to close in 1 minute so when I go up there I asked them about them and theyre like na we close about 20 minutes before so we can close at 10:00 so I did the obvious thing and said does your boss know about this cuz if he did he would " probably " fire you. But the only reason Im giving them a 1 star is because 1 to effect the star ratings and cuz they got some good cookies

This place used to be nice, now it seems to be going downhill. Food is moldy, old, and sometimes expired. Prices are high I always end up spending over 100. The chicken seems to be plumped out now too, used to be nice small sizes for the chicken wings now they are swollen. I prefer to go to aldi now and get my food. But husband likes the seafood section especially the live crabs. But other than that they need a remodel and a good cleaning.

The manager at the meat department needs to be changed cause he got no manners or act as if you are begging him something when youre paying your money. Hes very rude Ive saw a customer had a complaint about something to the meat department and instead the worker solve the problem they went with their mouth full of lies to the manager and speaking in their language and laughing at the customer which was very rude

Its necessity shopping, this place is nasty, lots of flies and rotting veges. The cashiers I get are usually very unpleasant. Last week I ran in just cause it was the closest place and I was rushed. I paid at the Customer Service cashier who had the worst manners. Ive never heard a thank you for shopping with us or saw a smile of appreciation for giving them business in all the years since they have been open.

They have an amazing selection of food, & spices from around the world. Its not your fancy publix or Kroger but it feels more welcoming knowing there are many different cultures and languages spoken in this place for those whos native tongue isnt English. Fresh seafood swimming In front of you and made to order. Friendly staff. Overall a great place to find most products your grandma once made.

Great selection and price on produce. Not much in the way of organic, though. Very popular seafood sections at all the Nam Dae Muns, some you will even have a fairly long wait. There is a huge selection of dried beans and bag rice. Most of the wine is cheaper than other grocery stores. Also a good place to find less mainstream meat like organ meats, goat, lamb, feet/head/whole, halal, etc.
