I think youre going to find what ever you think youll find when you walk into this store. Dont let the light classical music fool you. The prices of their sale items are actually below the competitors prices. In a 1 mile driving distance from this store are: Publix, Kroger, Aldi, Sams Club, and Super Walmart. There are prepared selections and decadent options that ARE pricey. Not related to the classical music. The prepared meals are still LESS EXPENSIVE than the many take-out restaurants in the area. The people who work here: friendly, happy, and proud of the work they do. Always ready to be helpful. Not mind readers. Having a bad day? Need some help, or a specialty item? Ask. They are VERY accommodating. Need help with a motorized shopping cart? Please try to at least make it to the register (right there in the front) to ask for help. Theyll get someone ASAP. These people are working. Its a job that they usually enjoy. Being a great community is a big part of that working experience. They are The Freah Market. Fresh. All their offerings support the fresh items they sell. The sushi chefs are amazing. Joey in the deli is an expert. And the gentleman who makes the chicken salad is so invested in his customers enjoying it, he is all smiles when his regulars come back for more. The fresh meats and seafood are managed by a full time, on site butcher staff. Its all fresh cut and served to order by friendly, knowledgeable people who care about what you need. I go to Publix or some other store for paper towels, shampoo, and toothpaste. I might pick up groceries while Im there. But, Ill go to The Fresh Market when I want locally grown, seasonally available menu options at a decent price for my every day family meals. Ill also come here for crumpets and English double cream. Or a bakery indulgence like freshly torched crème brûlée. Sometimes decadence isnt a bad thing.

One of the worse grocery stores Ive ever been in. First off, I`m ill. I asked for help in one of their riding carts. No one came up and said hello, or can i help you. Mind you, only 1p people were in the store. Crowded?! YES, IT WAS BUMPER TO BUMPER(rolls eyes), I ordered 2 platters of food on this past Thursday. Im looking for someone to help.Again, no one can i help you, and they walked past me without looking in my eye. People do that when tbey dont feel working. I went up to the asian lady and asked, where can i get the platters. Lo and behold, she speaks NO English. Then i went to the black woman. She was slow as molassess . The thing is , she wasnt doing ANYTHING. She also did not ask to help me. Completely ignored me. Then I went to the white lady in deli. Guess what, i got No help. Matter of fact , i went up to 3 other employees and NO ONE said hello, can i help you or anyrhing. Who trained these people?! You did a horrible, horrible job. I will NEVER go back to that store. If i could give 0 to .5 stars , i would! Completely annoyed. And NO I NEVER got the platters.

Went in on Saturday December 10th waited 10 minutes at the deli for someone to assist finally ordered some roast beef, the attendant came back said the roast beef that is on the shelf was expired and she was going to the back to get more after another 5 minutes came back said there wasnt any roast beef but I would get a $10.99 coupon to spend on anything else I would like at the store, I proceeded to check out and handed the cashier the note with the discount and she acted like she didnt know what that was, 25 minutes in the store for roast beef that was expired. Finally the manager Dorian came to the front and said I could only use the coupon on a future purchase of that particular roast beef from the deli. I handed her back the note and left. Now why would I want to go back there and buy expired roast beef. Horrible customer experience never going back there. I then went to Sprouts at Webb Ginn and got everything I needed for much less. Dont purchase anything from Deli, is my advice!

If youre wanting to be spend an arm, leg and kidneys at this overpriced, poorly ran, inept store then go ahead, you must have more money then sense. Employees are nice, but deserve to be treated with far more respect than they are given. Store manager is an inept, bullying, bossy, douche whos let the position go to his head. The other two mgrs, if they are still there, Jim and Nick are awesome at managing people and deserve to be running the store. The only way I would shop here is if they gave me a 50% discount on everything, and thats a big if. You can get the exact same stuff at the other grocery stores around the area for far better prices. The classical music is very annoying also. Overall I give this store a big fat F. Dont SHOP here....

Fresh Market does have a better selection of foods, fresh and packaged, than a lot of its competitors in the area. I even favor them over Sprouts. However, their prices on trivial items border on being outrageous. I purchased 4 avocados here once. I needed a few other things and probably could have bought acocados elsewhere for much cheaper, but got them at FM out of pure convenience (one stop shop). That was a mistake. Three of the four were almost entirely black/grey on the inside. Other than that, I prefer places with self checkout, which is not an option here. Their checkout/cashier process feels antiquated. That being said, I havent had to wait in long lines anytime Ive been here and their staff has always been friendly.

Bought some crab cakes recently because they were on BOGO. Figured they would be great coming from Fresh Market. Couldnt have been more wrong! Virtually all breading with a hint of crab taste. The frozen Phillips crab cakes--yes, theyre pricey--from other grocery stores are ten times as good, no kidding. Im kinda new to Fresh Market but after a really good experience with their strip steaks and pork chops on my first visit, I continue to be disappointed. Maybe this is why they dont have a customer service counter.

They have my pastured eggs, grass fed butter and a2 milk all at reasonable prices. Ive been going here regularly and today they messed up when I checked out charging me for 6 instead of 4 dozen eggs. After going back into the store and talking with the cashier, they corrected the mistake by both giving me a refund and also providing to me a small gift card for the store. Nice to see a place that goes above and beyond in this manner. Will definitely keep coming back.

Great shopping experience. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The people who work here really work hard to make sure the customer gets what they need. They have seriously good sushi, amazing sandwiches, and specialty items that are hard to find anywhere else. The prices on much of their general meal items are comparable to other local grocery stores. Its clean and an overall pleasant experience to walk in here.

I had lunch here today and decided to have a client meet me here for an initial buyers consultation. Food was good, environment great but it was down right FREEZING in there, I know its a grocery store but this was AC over kill. They offer wifi so I figured Id get some work done after meeting with client. ..Not..it was just too cold. .Other than feeling like I was in a meat cooler, my visit was pleasant.
