I recently purchased a 2000 model Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide from Rock City Cycles. The salesman/owner told me and my wife repeatedly that his business offers a 30 day warranty on every motorcycle they sell. Two weeks and 89 miles later, the clutch on the bike went out, leaving me on the side of the road. I called them to report the issue, and they asked me to bring the bike back in for them to check it over. Three days later I received a phone call from Rock City Cycles saying that my bike was fixed and they were covering all repair costs (nearly $800.00 worth), however I would be responsible for paying $340.00. I received no phone call prior to the repairs being made telling me that I would have to pay anything. I asked why there was a charge when the bike was supposedly under warranty. I was told that it was somehow my fault that the clutch broke. Coincidentally, a separate local repair shop had already given me a quote for $330.00 to replace the clutch. I told the person on the phone that I would like to talk with the owner about this. He told me to come by there the next morning and I could speak with him. As soon as I pulled in to the parking lot the following morning, the owner left. His staff told me that he had to run some errands but was supposed to return within one hour. The hour passed and I eventually asked the staff contact him. He told me over the phone that he was on his way back and that we could discuss this in person. He then spoke with his staff and told them to reduce the charges to $238.00, and see if I would accept that. I would not. They refused to release the Motorcycle without payment and I refused to pay until I spoke with the owner directly. Two more hours passed without him showing up. He also would not answer any more phone calls from his staff. I felt my hands were tied and I wound up having to pay the $238.00 just to have the bike released to me. Once I rode the bike I discovered that the motorcycle didn’t even shift correctly, which wasn’t even an issue when I originally dropped it off. I couldn’t pull the clutch lever before, but now I cant shift it in to neutral with the bike running. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service in my life. If Rock City Cycles wont honor their warranty, then they shouldn’t even offer one. If they are going to charge for a warranty job, or any other repair, they should at least give the courtesy of a phone call to tell you that prior to making any repairs. I strongly recommend finding anyone else to do business with other than Rock City Cycles.

Absolute worst customer service and business experience ever. Really. I cant even begin to tell you what a nightmare our experience has been with Rock City Cycles and Tim (owner) specifically. (Unable to locate the keys on the day of purchase therefore had to have them made, charged a different amount than originally agreed upon when bike was picked up, didnt provide equipment that was agreed upon at time of purchase, did not honor "30 day warranty", charged for repairs that were not necessary nor approved, Tim refused to meet to discuss this nor did he return any of the calls, states that necessary paperwork for tag wasnt filled out although we have the carbon copy of the document) Aside from these SEVERAL unprofessional and less than honest issues since purchasing the bike from here in September, we have yet to receive the tag that was paid for at the time of purchase as the business has not sent in the paperwork to the state. Save yourself money, time and LOTS of worry by taking your business elsewhere

I must say I went here looking and ended up purchasing.... Biker Day was the best... Who in a million years would have known she have family in my little hometown of Laurens.... I give them 5 stars... She delivered what she told me from the start of the process. This is my 1st bike so I can get ready for my BIG BOY bike on my 45th birthday in 3 years. If you are looking and not sure PLEASE GO SEE HER!!!! She will make you feel welcome and give you confidence in yourself. Oh less not forget Doc... He is great also... He gave me wonderful advice on the best place to go for riding lessons !!!!! Seven you was wonderful with handling things on signing day. The entire staff here was wonderful. You know I will be doing my Big Boy purchase here also..... Lol... Thanks again for a wonderful experience.... Brian P.

I would to thank rock city Cycle for the wonderful one day service they gave me. My bike was in and out in one day this is my 3rd motorcycle Ive bought from them anytime i need or want a parts or accessories they always took good care of me and made sure i got what i needed so to me i really feel like Tim ,Seven , Danny and the rest of the rock city staff as family thank you rock city and plus its almost time for another bike

I had a lot of nice inventory the customer service is good the people there knew what they were selling and information on the products that they have the owner is super nice and will give you advice on the products that he sells the shop was clean I would recommend anybody going up and talking or buying anything that they have

I love Rock City Cycle. The staff is sooo friendly and down to earth. Tim (owner) makes sure every time I come Im taken care of. I have been going to them since they opened and I never had a let down. Very professional! Long as Rockcity cycle doors are open, thats the only place for anything it needs my motorcycle will see!
