*Update 6/28/17* Once again, Discount Tire Store @ Buford does not disappoint! I accompanied my husband this morning for an 8:30AM appt to have new tires and custom wheels (fresh off the boat from Japan) mounted on his 17 WRX. From the time we were greeted walking through the door to the time we left, everyone was not only professional but took the time to care for each step of the installation process. This shop was already rocking and rolling with 4 cars in the bay. They brought the WRX back at 8:28AM and began the careful process of removing the OEM wheel set and mounting new tires onto a fresh set of wheels, that we waited over a month for from Japan. Every set of hands and eyes that worked on the tires, wheels, and car were methodical, careful, and most of all they looked like they enjoyed their work. Not a scratch or imperfection was found after they completed their work, the wheels were just as immaculate as they were when the techs unboxed them at the time of arrival. This crew is the real deal, they will take care of you and your wheels/tires. Thank you Discount Tires of Buford, you have a customer in me and my husband for life! -------------------------------------------------- Not 60 seconds after I parked my car, Nate greeted me after I exited my car. I explained to him that after rotating my tires I noticed my 13 Scion FR-S steering become less responsive and loose at hwy speeds. Nate shared that he used to own an FR-S and knew exactly what I meant when I said the steering was not as tight as it used to be. Collin was the tech that work on my car and shared his concern that whoever balanced my tires last did so incorrectly. He stated on one tire there was over 9 ounces of weight (thats over 1/2lb)! My current tires were installed at Pep Boys on Buford Dr, worst experience in my car owning days. Not only did they scratch my clean rims (which they never fixed after several complaints), I had to return on a separate date to fix my crooked steering wheel and now 2 months later find out they didnt even balance my tires correctly. The guys here at Discount Tires are top notch and I am kicking myself for not coming here to have my tires installed in the first place. I look forward to doing business with them again in the near future. *Note: they strictly work on wheels and tire installation, if you need an alignment they will recommend Americas Best on South Lee.

Called and spoke to a rep on the phone. Explain my situation and got a quote for a tire that was told was in stock. The rep on the phone instructed me to ask for Billy when I arrived. I arrive ask for Billy and was told theres no Billy that works there he is at a call center. Then they went on to tell me that the tire he quoted me was $62 not 59 and that I had to pay $20 for mounting. I had talked to the rep on the phone about other options such as purchasing another set of tires for a van to get the tire I needed today for the price we agreed and he squash that deal as well telling me it would be over $300 and I would have to add road hazard. Its a basic bait and switch. Tell me one thing on the phone knowing Im busy and in a hurry I arrived and they try and stick me for more money. I ended up buying the tire but after being promised immediate service I had waited for 35 minutes I called the call center back to speak to the Billy guy that I talk to you originally sat on hold for 15 minutes and was about to hang up when another guy got on the phone said Billy is not available and basically was very rude told me everything that the guy told me inside the store named Colin. Colin was nice and professional as he could be but at the same time did not seem compassionate to my situation and did not accommodate me the way I was promised by the representative on the phone. I spend a lot of money at this place we buy all our tires here and I can assure you that is no longer the case. I came next door to Walmart and got a brand new tire mounted for $43 which is exactly what I needed something very cheap and quick because the vehicle is not going to be in my possession much longer. Thanks for screwing me over and losing a customer Discount Tire also you cost me an hour of my time that I really need good job

Ive gone here for two sets of tires on two seperate occasions. Both times, I left pleased and simply astounded with the level of customer service! For example, I ran over a curb and my tire exploded. I drove it to Discount Tires on the spare, planning on buying just one tire. They approached me about five minutes after starting work on my truck, and told me I needed a new set of tires. I thought,"here it comes...s**t!" I told them I didnt have the money (I really didnt...,) and the mechanic said, "wait here, let me talk to my boss." I expected his boss to return to lay a high-pressure sales pitch on me, but was pleasantly surprised when he calmly said "I know moneys tight these days, and Ive been there myself! Ill tell you what, weve got four relatively new tires you can have, for free. They arent the same brand, but theyll last a good fifty thousand miles. All youd have to pay for is the installation." I said, "O.K., sounds great!" About twenty minutes later, I was all finished. The total bill was less than $60! I got two good years out of those tires, they looked fine and virtually new, with plenty of tread remaining, and I couldnt be more pleased. You just dont find human-to-human service like this at very many businesses these days. Its important to me to support people who actually take pride in their work, no matter how outwardly humble it may seem. They earned a customer for life that day! Oh, and they have a Keurig coffee machine, with a dozen varieties of coffee and tea. A definite bonus!

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe that is heavily modified. I called Discount Tire to see if they had the tires I was looking for. Spoke with one of the sales associates(Doug) who said he would be happy to order the tires I needed. Within a hour he called me back saying the tires had already arrived and they would be happy to install them same day. At first I was skeptical about letting a shop put tires on my Volk wheels. The guys at Discount assured me they could handle it no problem. Sure enough they had my tires ordered, delivered, and installed in the same day for a price that beat the compition in every way. The sales associates in the store (Nate and Daniel I believe) were both extremely helpful and friendly, also they took excellent care of my car and my wheels. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of tires for any car.

The tires were clean and perform very well! I love the product I received--and especially the price. I feel that Discount Tire is a great place to buy tires, although I will not be visiting the Buford location again. I walked in and was the only person in line. It took close to 7 minutes for someone (either one guy on the phone, or a guy just arriving) to acknowledge my presence, and another 4 min. before someone actually addressed me. As I sat, waiting for my car, every other customer was met with a handshake and a smile only moments after arriving. Perhaps it was just a bad day, maybe I arrived at a bad time, or maybe they just hated my shoes. In any case, I found the customer service provided to me, personally, was extremely poor. No problem with the product, just wanted to give an honest assessment of my experience. Thanks.
