I am a college student and an IT consultant. I work from home all the time and like to visit new locations that accommodate remote workers. I live in West Midtown so I am used to nice coffee shops and really nice book stores. I drove to Buford, GA and decided to meet one of my old friends from high school to read books, drink coffee, and get some work done. To my surprise, this store has a very nice location upstairs around an indoors Starbucks. However, there is no access to an electrical outlet. In fact, there is only one outlet according to an employee in the section where people sit to work, study, and read. It has been this way for over 4 years. While, I do get the fact that this is a bookstore, it is 2014. One of my past times as an IT professionals is to read books and perform the exercises available online. I pretty much wasted my time coming here. I honestly do not support this company and it is no surprise that they are in decline. I used to visit this store to find books that assist me in expanding my knowledge in my profession. But, I will honestly be switching over to Amazon. I simply cant support businesses that are not willing to adapt and evolve with current generations.

Looking for an audiobook I so dearly wanted to have and would have paid whatever the cost but the bloke at the Audiobook section was rather rude and was quick to dismiss not having it when I asked. Also he didnt even bother to ask to see if he could order it for me from the store. He just quickly turned around and seemed to hover. Attitude was rather off. He seemed to be quite paranoid as he kept hanging about as if I was going to steal something. Any other times, I love the place, and this one event does not reflect on the over all experience but this one time was somewhat off putting.

The water they keep in the front was completely out....My daughter who is 11 asked if they could put more out the girl at the register rudely said Ill get to it in a min...When my daughter went back up there 10 min later still no water and the girl looked at my 11 year old daughter and said Im working on it very rudely... Horrible to speak to a child that way will never return!!!!!!

coffee is blend, the workers are not nice, they dont know how to make coffee. the machiatto was too mild so I asked them to remake but they just add syrup and stir and gave it to me and they gave me attitude afterwards. Please dont waste you money here. Never order from here.

Very nice Bookstore with 2 floors. Upstairs there is even a Starbucks. The staff is mostly helpful but I recommend asking for Carolyn. Also, it is part of the Mall but its not attached to the main building so you will have to walk to the to get to the main building.

Staff here are great. Came in, went straight to the customer service booth, told the lady which book I was looking for (I already looked it up on their website to see if it was in stock) and the lady led me right to the book. She was brilliant. Love this store.

One of the best bookstores in the area. I always make a note to stop in if Im ever in the area. More than just books here; I come in to peek at records more often than not. Friendly staff. Nice, two floor layout.

Most people dont read books these days I dont but this place isnt completely useless. If you need a good place to get out of your parents house and get a good suck up, go here.
