Bought a furniture online and then went there to pick them up. I experienced kind of attitude from the sales associate that I have never seen in any U.S. retail store before. The employee was rude and unwilling to pay attention to customers concerns. I think the company is hiring temporary workers at low wages and not spending anything for employment screening and training. I was even more surprised when I came home with furniture. As soon as I opened the packaged I noticed that the wooden pieces are totally broken. I tried to call the local store but the number they have advertised as store phone number was out of service so I called another number that I found in the order confirmation email. This number is for their overseas call center. Unfortunately these overseas representatives could do nothing but to tell me to go back to the store with damaged items. So I went to the store and returned the merchandise. I asked the associate in the returns department about the refund but he could not do anything by himself but sent me to a supervisor for refund processing. It took quite a long time to wait for her as she was busy with other jobs but finally I was able to get the the paperwork done for the refund. I was so disappointed with all these painstaking procedures to refund poor quality merchandise they sell that I returned home without picking up another item that I ordered online the previous day and getting my money back for that item was nightmare. I tried to contact the local store but the number is either often non-working or responded by an answering machine. I contacted the overseas call center several times but finally I had to open a dispute with the credit card company. While other stores in the U.S.A. charge after delivery of merchandise this company charge your card as soon as you place your order and intend not to refund you in case you cancel the order or you decide not to pick up. Do yourself a favor- dont go there. Some of the items they sell are cheap but you get what you pay for. They sell refurbished and poor quality items; there are lots of places where you can buy better quality things at competitive prices.

The worst buying experience ever. After making six major purchases here as part of a home renovation, I still have a huge mess because of Sears and the Seats Outlet. Range and dishwasher were delivered very damaged; microwave went to the wrong address; vent hood actually came as an incorrect and damaged sku. The worst was our built in refrigerator. After the other debacles, we inspected our fridge at the store once it arrived via online offer. When we returned to set up delivery (after payment, with our name and address literally on the item, segregated off the sales floor) it was sold to someone else...I assume to a friend or family member of the local manager because there is no way it could have been returned to inventory from where we left it, set for delivery in a separate area not accessible to customers. Now the item is no longer in stock and I am left with new cabinets but no replacement fridge to fit them. The customer service, online and phone teams for both sears and the sears outlet are easily the most unhelpful and incompetent I have encountered...right up there with whichever manager gave the ok to resell an already purchased and paid for item. After spending countless hours (once over twenty I stopped keeping track) trying to get this sorted out we finally gave up. We actually had to drive some of the items that were delivered broken back to the store because they couldnt figure out how to either process a return or pick up the damaged appliances. We are never shopping here again and taking all of our business to a competitor, even if the prices are much higher. This business had absolutely no respect for the investment my family made with them or the trouble they have caused. Learn from our situation and save yourself the trouble. Just go to Lowes, HD, or any of the well run local appliance dealers.

This place is dysfunctional. Here is my story: Bought a floor model couch last week. Delivery arrived two hours late with only half the couch (it comes apart in the middle so you can get it through a door). Called the store and they could not find the other half. Drove back to the store and had the most bizarre shopping experience of my life. The assistant manager told me "that if I want the rest of my couch I would have to pay them for it". He was rude and irrational, and refused to believe that two of their own sales people helped me and sold me the floor model couch. At one point he threatened their jobs, on the sales floor (in the middle of the appliance section), in front of other customers and employees. Im still dealing with this and honestly its not worth the hassle. I was assured that the actual store manager would be calling me on two separate occasions to help resolve the issue. He has failed to do so on both days. Im only motivated at this point because of the way I was treated by the assistant manager for simply buying a couch. I will be contacting Sears corporate. Stay far far away from the circus that is this outlet store.

Must be an informed buyer. You can not beat the price of used or out of box appliances but they are not refurbished. They are also not affiliated with SEARS and their policies. I was shopping for a dishwasher and it was missing the top sprayer. If i did not notice it, it looked fine. I then asked them about it and they told me it was as is. I went to the parts department which is Sears affiliated and found out it was $100 in parts. They stated as Sears they should not sell you anything with missing pieces, they should be refurbished in working order. I then went to speak with sales guy which took 20 minutes of waiting to get one. He stated they are not part of Sears just lease the name. I then spoke with the manager who stated she could not give me any price break or fix the washer i was looking at. I asked her if she would mark it as missing pieces and she said it is as is (which means they are trying to sell it to someone that did not know it was missing pieces) I ended up with a slightly more expensive unit just cause i saved $275 off a brand new one. if i did not get a good price i would not have bought here due to shady practices.

Be careful if you buy a unit. Make sure to do research first I purchased a combo unit on Sunday and 2 days later after getting them to my house and attempting to use them both machines are broken. My Kenmore elite washer is throwing error codes and wont stop running for 4 hours and the dryer has a broken timer it appears. Both of the units are rated horribly online so I wanted to have them returned or exchanged instead of keeping them. Unfortunately I dont have anyone to help me move these units for a few weeks and since I picked them up from the store with a truck or as the store manager said I "deemed it necessary" to pick them up I have to "deem it necessary" to return them myself without any help. I understand that there is a 800 repair line and there is help to "hopefully" get the units right. But the fact of the matter is that it is policy to not help someone exchange or change a unit when you sell them a broken piece of equipment.... come on. Thanks for selling me 2 broken units that werent even a great deal and you shaft me on the back end. Appreciate it Ill make sure to do a lot of business with sears in the future...
