Being in sales, I’ve got to look the part. After all, image is perception and perception is reality, right? This means I have to get it right when it comes to my hair, my clothes and, most importantly…my jewelry. Historically, I’ve traveled into the cities I’ve lived (i.e. Chicago, New York, Detroit, etc.) to find my bracelets, rings and watches. Unfortunately, with these big city stores, come big city prices and big city attitudes. Luckily, a few years ago, I was looking to fix a broken watch and went into MacKinnon Jewelers. From the moment I crossed the threshold into the store, I was greeted and treated like family. Tom (the owner) shook my hand and took a genuine interest in my needs. My watch was fixed promptly and at a cost low enough that I thought was a joke. It wasn’t. I’ve been back several times to see Tom and his friendly and helpful staff…and every time, he remembers my name. Put simply, MacKinnon Jewelers has the huge selection you want, the customer service you deserve at prices you won’t believe. I have, and will continue to recommend MacKinnon Jewelers to anyone who will listen.

After driving all over Pinellas and Pasco counties for 4 days looking for a specific style gold cross for my fiancé, to have engraved after the passing of his beloved Mother, I finally found McKinnons!! As soon as I spoke to Tom I knew this was the right place. He knew exactly what I was looking for ( which couldnt be found in the catalogs at the other places) So Tom made it for me!!! This request was different because I wanted a personalized engraving on the back in Spanish (neither of us speak Spanish btw) but Tom again said no problem, then contacted a friend of his from Costa Rica, to do the perfect translation for me! I mean come on... I couldnt believe the heart this man put into my request! He instantly cared about me and what I needed this gift to be the minute he met me. The cross was completed in 3 days and came out glorious!!! I cried when I saw it! Tom thank you again and I can never say enough wonderful things about you, what an amazing jeweler!

Just got engaged I called 3 other jewelers and even went to kiefers jeweler and all I wanted was my ring half a size smaller everyone told me they couldnt do it or I have to get a band underneath or they had to put beads on the inside and it was hundreds of dollars so called my future in laws and they told me to see there jeweler tom and told me to try it out so I drove over explained my Delimma an even though he was booked all day he fit me right in and had everything done in hour and half !!!! He did a FABULOUS job his staff was soo sweet and kept me company and saved me $300 dollars!!! I couldnt be happier with the service I received and my ring was super shiny and sparkly!!! Deff going to Mackinnons for now on and referring everyone to him !

I called MacKinnon Jewelers asking them if they had a certain pandora charm in stock, which they did. I was trying to pick it up for an anniversary gift before I went out of town the next night. I told them I could be there right at 6 which is when they close. I thought maybe they would stay an extra couple minutes, but the lady made sure I knew they would be closing right at 6. So I got there as fast as I could, showed up to the door at 5:54 and of course the lights were off and the door was locked. Very poor customer service. Even though Ive bought a few pandora charms there recently I will not be returning. You just lost a loyal customer due to your companys lack of loyalty!

Highly recommended! The jeweler Tom is meticulous with his work. I had a custom piece made here and am in love with It! Couldnt have asked for a better experience from start to finish. The time involved and attention to detail was impressive. Ive also had a few repairs done in the past, ranging from fixing a ring I broke in half to replacing some diamonds I had knocked out of a ring. The price was great and it was done in less than a week (the store in the mall quoted me 2-4 weeks and it would have to be mailed somewhere!) The merchandise selection is amazing as well. something for everyone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This Jeweler Rhodium Plated my vintage design wedding ring without explaining what they were going to do. They told my husband they would shine it up for him. Little did he know that meant that they would be coating the entire ring in rhodium plating over my beautiful ring. Ruining the vintage look to my ring. Im so upset my ring is ruined and they cant take it off. This is a very expensive custom ring, I have had for 8 years and the color was perfect for the design. DONT GO HERE.

The staff is exceptional and this, of course, stems from the character and integrity of the owner Mr. MacKinnon, whose presence is charming and professional. Patrick Lainhart is exceptional in providing attentive service. I cannot give a high enough rating to this exquisite jewelry store.

A wonderful experience. Tom McKinnon resized a family heirloom engagement ring. He is extremely knowledgeable. The ring looks perfect! He was very nice about my request to see the diamond under the microscope. This jeweler is special - warm and classy with unique pieces that you wont see anywhere else, but their prices are reasonable. We will definitely shop here again.

DIY DUSTIN

I dropped off an heirloom ring my father had given me that has seen better days. I just needed a simple reshaping of the band as it was bent and starting to not fit right anymore. What i Picked up was not my ring, it was 10 times better. Its beyond impressive what they did. If youve got some older jewelry that needs some tending to i would highly suggest you bring it here.
