I am a frequent customer to GameStop. I have several systems at which GameStop has provided my family and I with. I am a Power Up Rewards member as well. I have purchased numerous games, accessories, and gaming jargon from GameStop and have appreciated them and in return been a loyal customer. Today I went to pick up my pre-ordered paid in full Resident Evil. In the process I thought I may exchange a game I purchased for my children which was defective. In the process of returning the game my five year old decided he wanted to take it out its case and crack it. Will I am an honest woman and this is not the first time he has done this, however it was the first time he did it to a already defective game. I still insisted my GameStop would help me out with a $6.29 game. Heck, Id probably get a more expensive game anyway. Well I was informed that it was against their policy and they would not honor it. And I was also informed by the associate that there would be no avail calling to voice my complaint to a higher level because according to them, complaints never get attention and this was against their policy anyway. Well, I was baffled! I have always been there for them and silly little game they wouldnt budge. Outrageous! I simple mistake, that I believe could have just been fixed. Well, I canceled my membership and also my paid in full Resident Evil 6 reservation and will do my business elsewhere. If GameStop or employees of GameStop cannot treat their loyal customers with any empathy then I wish not to affiliate myself with them.

Whats great about young people working at GameStop? They know their stuff. You want games? They have em. No matter who I talk to, I always get good advice and great service. Not sure whats out? Go in and tell them the type of gameplay you like, and theyll make recommendations of what will fit you.
