This is a dying breed of store where you can come in with a board out of a plasma TV and source new replacement parts at very reasonable prices. The gentlemen behind the counter were knowledgeable and friendly. They even helped me with some basic soldering of some capacitors. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for electronic parts. Dont let the exterior fool you... be glad that this store exists in the area and that they keep prices and overhead low!

This place is the real deal,........ and you get TED. He is a wealth of knowledge. The store would take you back to the 50s or 60s (if you are that old). He ordered me a new stylus for my turntable, it eventually came in and it did not fit. He was more than willing to rectify it, yet gladly let me buy a new Shure cartridge and stylus for an upcharge of $30. Used albums for $1, used stereo gear. "Next to the tracks"on Babcock. Worth the visit.

I have called tedco twice for fairly standard electronics equipment and both times they did not seem to understand simple electronics questions, they were semi-rude in their responses, and they were quick to get off of the phone suggesting that they were not interested in doing business. I will try every other option first before ever calling them for anything again.

The stores not much to look at from the outside, but the gentleman who ran the store was helpful and friendly. They have a diverse amount of connectors, parts and other supplies, including older, harder to find items. They even have a tube tester if you need one! The parts I bought were 1/2 the price of the same items at Radio Shack. I will be shopping there again.

Went to Tedco to purchase an antennae, I told them where I lived and they sold me one , told me how to set it up and point it, now my TV memorized 67 free channels from the Orlando area transmitter. I highly recommend them for your electronic needs. Ted introduced himself to me , what a great guy Thanks Ted!

Screw Radioshack - this place is the bees knees. Bought a reel-to-reel player for my husband last time I was in. If you need a random cable that you cant find anywhere else or if youre a Maker/DIYer - this is the place to go! Takes credit cards too which is awesome as well!

Very knowledgeable folks here and they are "old school" as am I when it comes to fixing something. Id rather repair it then just replace it at quadruple the price and they were able to repair a control board for me for only $10.......try that anywhere else!

Started in the 70s going to get what I needed, I moved away in 2000 but, I come back to Melbourne every year on vacation and I have to stop by and purchase something. They have more than radio shack and now they have closed there stores.

Went in for tv antenna and Ted, the owner, gave clear, accurate instructions with more than reasonable prices. Tedco will install and guarantee equipment for a year. Goodbye Spectrum! Goodbye At&t! Hello 68 channels for free!

I needed an obscure cable to connect a cash drawer to my POS system. They didnt have it, but they had the parts to build it and did so in the time it took me to drive over and pick it up. Great service!
