TL:DR Dont ever go to this Best Buy and just order whatever it is from online. Even after waiting on shipping it will be quicker. Wife and I went to get her a new tablet as hers was still using Android 4 and showing its age. Drove about 45 minutes to this Best Buy as my local Best Buy didnt have the Samsung tablet she wanted available. When we got to this store we already knew which tablet she wanted and according to their website it was available at this store. This should have been a less than 5 minute in store trip. We were there for more than 30 minutes. The store was first opening when we got there so we just went and waited in the tablet section for an employee to become available. Usually when you go to a Best Buy you are asked more times than you can count if you need help. Not this time. They had one guy in the computer department and according to the other employees thats who had to help us get a tablet out of the cage they had them in. There were 4 employees in the cell phone area doing nothing but walking around. One was actually sitting down doing something on a computer not even 10 feet away. I didnt count how many other employees just walked by from other departments. After 20-30 minutes of waiting and not a single employee could free themselves up enough to help we went and asked the one guy that was sitting on the computer in the cell phone section for help getting a tablet. (I should add, there was zero customers in the cell phone section this whole time) He pointed me to the computer section and said they would have to help me. He never even looked in that direction. If he had, then he would have seen the one guy in the computer section had four others waiting for his help. Again no customers in the cell phone section that required their attention long enough to step over 10 feet to get a tablet. Normally I would have just left and ordered it from Amazon at this point but its for my wife and I didnt want her to have to wait since she never wants or asks for much of anything for herself. So I head over to the computer department and as the sole employee over there is going to get something for someone else he asks me if I need help. Tell him a tablet and he detours to one of those people in the cell phone department to ask them to get me a tablet. They give him a hard time about it as far as why he couldnt get it until he mentions how he is the only one over there with a line. Now I have someone from the cell phone department trying to help get a tablet. With the wrong keys. Takes them another 5-10 minutes to find the right keys before getting the tablet out. All in all I was in there at least 30-40 minutes waiting for a bunch of employees that couldnt take the time from doing nothing to unlock a cage for a tablet.

So, I have taken about a year and a half to write this review of why I will not buy from Best Buy in the foreseeable future. At this time my anger at how I was treated has abated and can objectively describe my interactions with them. My experience in the past has been fine at best. Buying smaller items from them for the most part has never proven to be an issue... Until I tried to buy a $3200 4K TV. My initial visit was amicable as i knew the exact brand and model tv that i wanted to buy. The salesman let me know that they were out of stock at the moment but they could attain the desired TV from a sister store within a week. I was fine with this and paid for the TV we had discussed and went on my way eager to receive my purchase within a weeks time. I waited.. for more than a week to hear back from someone that my purchase had arrived. I ended up calling to ask, and was told that it was on the truck on its way and to check back at a later time. This i did. Called back after a few days and was informed that the TV had not been on the truck as previously told it was. So two weeks has passed and they still have not been able to get a TV on a truck and to the store. I was getting fed up at this point as I had paid a lot for something and it did not look like I would be receiving it any time soon. I went to the store to talk to someone in person. Discussed issue with customer service, was told that they would have to "go see what they could do about it". In all I spent about two hours waiting to be told that they couldnt get the TV to me, but they had a display unit still on the wall that I could take... I felt like I was at a used car lot as they began their upsell pitches and time wasting BS. At this point I am frustrated to the point that I payed another $350 to get a newer model and get the heck away from there. At this point I thought my issues with bestbuy were done.. nope. I tried to check my rewards program for the points I should have received for spending $3200. And none ever appeared. I tried to enter the receipt number in and it told me that the rewards points had already been claimed. I tried again and again to attain the points and all to no avail. TLDR- Bestbuy used bait and switch used car lot techniques while I was purchasing a TV. Wasted two weeks of my time. And was not awarded reward points for $3200 purchase.

Absolutely horrible experience with this store. We purchased a washer and dryer set over a month ago, and we have yet to receive our dryer. We were told that both items would be delivered two weeks after our purchase due to a backup, which was fine, but we still havent received our dryer. Best Buy failed to inform us that we would not get our dryer until later, so it came as a surprise when the delivery crew showed up with only a washer and informed us that the dryer was not in stock yet. We had to contact Best Buy several times to acquire information about our dryer, first speaking with a manager who assured us he would find out the expected delivery date and would call us back 20 minutes later with that information. Sure enough, we never received a call from Best Buy. Weve tried to be very patient and understanding throughout this process. We then contacted Best Buy again the next day and spoke to Blake, the general manager of the store. Hes the only reason Im not giving them one star. He was polite and apologized for this ridiculously unprofessional experience, providing us with a date that the dryer would be delivered. He also threw in free dryer parts after we asked him to to ease the frustration of the entire ordeal. Later on, we received a call from delivery stating that the dryer would be delivered without parts. We called Best Buy again, and they assured us the parts would be delivered with the dryer. The dryer has yet to be delivered, so well see what happens. The entire process has been a nightmare. Its been a month since the initial purchase---two weeks later than the initial delivery date, and were still without a complete set. Our experience has been completely frustrating. There has been little to no communication from Best Buy, and no communication among their staff. Whats even more ridiculous is that this isnt a fluke. We have a friend who purchased a washer and dryer set who has had a very similar experience. His set was delivered with damage! We will not recommend this store to any of our friends, and we certainly will not be making any future purchases. I advise you to stay away from this Best Buy. Weve tried to be very patient with them and have grace, but its really been the worst experience weve ever had.
