I went to Sun Coast for my first tattoo. I had gone to a few other local tattoo shops however, I instantly felt a connection with the artists at Sun Coast. The atmosphere was very inviting and the mood created by the artists was also very comforting, especially given this was my first tattoo inquiry. The other shops I had gone to were almost standoffish and did not go nearly to the level Sun Coast did in attempting to accommodate me. Sun Coast went above and beyond to get me in to the shop quickly for my rather large tattoo, and were patient in helping to create the design I wanted. I was able to relax on the couch and watch a movie while my design was being drawn to my liking -- the actual tattoo experience was seamless and I was given ample opportunity to take breaks whenever I needed them. I will by far continue to go to this shop for any future tattoos I may desire. The laid-back yet professional environment is, in my opinion, the perfect way and place to get a tattoo, not to mention the fantastic pricing together with the accommodating nature and high-level of artistic ability its artists impose on the shop.

Ive gotten several pieces done here and will continue to go back. They do great custom work at a reasonable price and the atmosphere is very inviting and family friendly. All of the artists are excellent and have full portfolios available to give clients a clear view of their style and strengths. The piercing work is fantastic, too, and they have the only female piercer I have seen on the beach. Shes also a nurse so I know everything they do will be held to an ever higher standard of cleanliness and safety. I would absolutely recommend Sun Coast to anyone.

Josh and his wife Ashley made my first tattoo experience amazing I went for two sessions and both times I laughed more then I winced. his art was amazing I got a tattoo on my rib cage and it didnt hurt nearly as bad as people say it does. maybe because Im awesome or because Josh is not heavy handed. they are great people and its the only shop I will go to for my next several tattoos, even though I live in jacksonville. I highly recomend them to anyone who wants a tattoo!! or peircing.

Awesome experience. I have been to a few shops for small art and this one was by far my favorite. Smashley is hands down amazing to say the least, she makes you feel so comfortable and gives you exactly what you want. The shop itself is a stress relief, couches and always a funny movie on. Great entertainment. My little sister got her first tattoo on her back of a scorpion and loved her first experience. Will defiantly go back and pass on the word. Thank you so much guys!!!

I first went to Sun Coast Tattoos for a touch up of a half-sleeve. I was blown away by their attention to small details and over all quality of the work. Theyre all extremely talented here! Its a family friendly environment as well and you wont feel intimidated like you would at other shops. Everybody is very down to earth. I was 100% satisfied with their work, my touch up looks like a brand new tattoo. I will be going back for brand new tattoos in the very near future.

This place is so cool and the artists are awesome and nice. I just went in for a simple tattoo on my wrist and Josh put in so much time and detail into making it one of a kind and so much better than what I originally expected. Also the pricing was super affordable. Super cute dog at the shop too. Loved every thing about this place. I want to come down from NY to get my next one!

I went in to have a cover up done by Jon. He is amazing. The cover up was so much more then I imagined and after 20 years of looking at an ugly tattoo I know have one that I am happy with. The shop is clean and professional and the staff Jon, Justin, and Ashley have been a great help with any questions that I have had. Highly recommend these guys

Josh and Jon are the best! I lost my wife to cancer and stopped in to get a tattoo to celebrate her life. Jon gave me the most vibrant colorful tattoo!
