Urban Empire is hands down the best tattoo shop Ive been to in Columbus! Im currently working on getting my 6th tattoo finished here, and there is no way Id ever let anyone at another shop in Columbus, touch me with ink. Everyone in the shop is cool and laid back, there is always a good vibe in the shop. Theyre professional 100% of the time, they have never disrespected me or anyone I have brought with me. They always accommodate me and my needs when it comes to financing my work, and never make me feel bad about what I can or cant pay at the time. The owner is my main artist and everybody always loves my work from him, but the other artists get a lot of people in for them too! I recommend Urban Empire to everyone who asks me, including my sister who flew from FL all the way back, to get her first tattoo done here, and is in LOVE with it. Definitely a well deserved 5 stars!

Never will I walk into this tattoo shop again. Not only was I waiting there for an hour and a half. I was told that they accepted credit cards and when I went to pay for the tattoo(mind you they didnt do the tattoo yet) their machine was all of a sudden "down" after continuously being told that they would get to my mother and I shortly. Instead they kept goofing off and if someone of color came in they would act super friendly towards them and disrespectful to us. Truthfully theyre just in it for the money brought to you buy the comment of "man we need cash so we can have money now and not wait for the cash to hit our account." So my word of advice is if youre gonna get a tattoo done, go to an ACTUAL Professional and not people who goof off and act they way they did.
