I have lived in the area for nearly 10 years, and frequent this Ace Hardware, because it is closer that Lowes or Home Depot, even though it is more expensive than the big box stores. But lately, the service at this location has been horrible. The cashiers have an attitude like they are doing you a favor by being there. No thank you, no eye contact, nothing. Everytime I walk in they are in the middle of a personal conversation with the other employees. Going forward, I will gladly drive the extra 6 miles to Lowes, where the product is less expensive and the customer service is more professional. Mr. Metz (manager) and Mr. Carter (owner) I hope you read this review and take action.

Husband John here ... I was having difficulty mounting training wheels on my granddaughters first 2 wheeler. I had tried two different nuts, neither of which would thread on to the axle. Over two visits, Joseph was very patient and truly interested that I solve my problem. I brought the bike in on the second visit and he identified a peculiar thread problem and successfully resolved it. Know this is unsolicited and I did not know Joseph. We are visiting from out-of-town. Shop here. Thanks Joseph.

Giving Ace 2 out of 5 stars because thats the odds you have they stock what you need for a home repair. Sure they have fancy coolers and grills but their "nuts and bolts" stock is always missing a crucial piece. I miss the old "hardware" store.
