I booked an estimate at Home Depot to get my floor redone, and out of three other flooring companies, this was undoubtedly the worst. First, they told me that I would have to go to the store personally to pick out the flooring. So, I go to Home Depot and meander around aimlessly looking for the right tile. There were multiple employees there that saw me and did not offer to help me. I sat at the desk in the flooring aisle for ten minutes, so i called the store. Someone finally came to help me. The employee seemed rather rude and did not offer any condolences for my lost time. She showed me the tile and I proceeded to ask her questions. She then told me that if you have a piano or a pool table, they will not even move it for you, which seemed rather ridiculous. It was a charge of $100 dollars just to move a TV. Upon this information, I cancelled my estimate because I have a piano and I dont want to be nickeled and dimed paying for everything. They should have told me this upfront when I called and wasted my time. This was a horrible experience, and I am extremely unsatisfied.

Excellent service at the store we bought several appliances and Julia help us a lot trying to find the perfect match and the best options. Usually always we find everithing what were looking for. The only thing that it really was terrible and bad service was the company that they have to delivery appliances, does guys do not have good manners at all.

Very friendly staff, the manager Steve took.time to look up decor fans, that I am interested in purchasing soon. I was in with my friend and her Dad, they too were treated well. I definitely will buy paint and other products for my upcoming project.

Veteran discounts are given during veteran and major holidays. Retired and Those with a VA rated disability receive the discount every day. Lowes Corp policy is the same, some stores give the discount at all times.

Roadside Channel

I no longer shop at Home Depot as they refuse to give Veterans discounts. Instead I shop at the Lowes just down the street. Show your VA card at Lowes and you get a discount. Home Depot doesnt get it.
