WOW- where do I start. I arrived at Target with cash in hand. The sales rep there ( we will call him Tom) said since I had cash I wouldnt want any of the junk on their lot and took me to the auction around the corner instead. Tom then tried to tell me which vehicle to buy completely disregarding the description of the "perfect vehicle" I had laid out for him. I picked out a car that at auction should have been in my price range and they said for a "small" dealer fee they would bid on the truck and let me know if we won the bid. Of course they tried to say that did not win the bid because they would not have been able to make their LARGE dealer fee if purchased at the auction price. They then held on to my deposit refusing to give it back and allow me to shop elsewhere. The next weekend Tom took me back to the auction where I was forced to pick out a second vehicle to try to purchase. I won the auction paying the same price I would have liked to pay for the first vehicle and ended up with exactly opposit of what i wanted. I understand this is partially my fault for handing them money to begin with in hopes that used car sales men would ever be honest or helpful but this ripped me apart to know I finally had money enough saved for a nice vehicle and just like that, I was robbed. I was talked into allowing them to tack on an additional 100$ for a detail since it was coming from the auction and didnt have the "new car" smell. Three days after the auction ran I still didnt receive a call from them saying I could pick it up and I had to opt to pick it up without the detail and schedule another date since I needed my vehicle to get to and from work. When I called to schedule the detail they told me even they are open on the weekends (the only time I had to shop for the truck which they were aware of my work schedule from day one) they wouldnt do the detail on the weekends. Less the 8 months later my trucks engine blew (even though they said their mechanic did a full inspection on the vehicle) I had to replace the motor costing half of what the vehicle did to begin with in parts and labor and their office clerk/owner (we will call her Pat) refused to deduct the detail off my bill/payments since I signed the agreement. Once I paid off their LARGE dealer fees I was told that even though I paid cash for the vehicle itself they had placed a GPS device in my car and would need to take it out before they could give me my title - Mind you the vehicle is completely paid off and the sensor has since been in my car for two weeks and still no title. I am having to find transportation to work and will have to drop off my vehicle and leave it there for an entire day in hopes that they will remove their device, detail my car and give me my title when I go to pick it up... Pat also told me when I got the receipt for the pay off that they need to take out the GPS device so that my car will "Run properly"...hmmmm after my motor blew up without warning (no dummy lights, no smell, no noise...NOTHING) It seems to me that the last thing you would want to say to me is "So your car will run properly" seing as I was behind a few weeks in paying them BECAUSE I WAS WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION AND WAS PAYING A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT JUST TO GET TO AND FROM WORK... Seems likely that they may have opted to shut my car down through their GPS (which by the way is illegal in Florida due to the damage it does to the vehicle and its safety) - reason I say this too is because Tom during his ridiculous sales tactics decided to share with me the fact that they use these types of devices... I intend to get a full GPS report on that device when I go there to and hope that it doesnt say that they attempted something that stupid the day my motor blew. Even longer story short - you would be an idiot not to heed my warning and STEER CLEAR of this place

I read some of the other reviews. Sure, the salesmen dont wear suits. Its 2011; not even people in banks wear suits anymore, and Id be suspicious of a car salesman dressed like that. Id think he was trying to rip me off. Yes, they eat in front of the customers, but I dont really see how that is a problem; even people selling cars have to eat some time. To be fair, they share willingly enough too. For reasons beyond their control I ended up waiting in the office for quite a while, everyone were friendly and took time to chat, made sure I was comfortable and entertained, and that I had all the cookies I might want. Buying a car here is more expensive than at some other places, but if you dont have the cash and no possibility to get a regular car loan, paying a little more might not be the end of the world. They got me into one of my dream cars; a thing I didnt think possible. Regarding repairs of the car, they kept mine over the weekend to have it reconditioned, and to fix some mechanical issues. The mechanic came to see me himself and chatted a little. He was very courteous, and when the repairs took a day longer than expected, they phoned me and made sure I knew what was going on and felt comfortable with it. They did fix everything that was on the list to do, and I got a years warranty. Ive never gotten warranty on a used car before. When you buy a car, any car, anywhere, you have to go into it with open eyes. A used car is never perfect. Heck, a NEW car is rarely perfect. You will lose money on it. If you buy a new car, youve lost money as soon as you roll it onto the street the first time. We all need transportation, and we all have different ideas of what that transportation should be and of what its worth. Thanks to Target Auto Brokers, I now have a car that I really wanted. I love it! My experience has been very positive and Im happy I decided to turn into their lot to check it out. PS The word is spelled epitome, not apitomy...

I am writing this review, to further prevent anyone from getting SCAMMED & taken of advantage of by these CROOKS, My husband & I were tight on money after my car got totalled, so we looked around, & ended up at Target. Before we bought the car, the men were somewhat helpful not really taking the time to show me a car, just saying "this one, ok well then how about this one," One of the workers who had supposedly been there for years tried to sell us his bosses car ( of course the only one that was nice all around), they were already coming off uneducated. Basically we kept getting switched between workers, when asked to speak to the manager somehow he was "not available". The ladies were rude, the place was disgusting, & when I finally picked out my car, the real nightmare actually began. We had to sign all this paperwork like we owned it, & I was already iffy about the HIGH price. I was told I could pick my car up tomorrow after they fixed all the little problems & changed the tires. I didnt see my car for a week, they were just sitting on our hard earned money. When I got it, we took the kids to the bakery down the street. It caught on fire while we were inside, so had to take it right back. also the tires they put on looked worse than the last ones. We dealt with so many problems & it took weeks to finally be able to see the manager (very unorganized) He made us a deal everything would be fixed, because he was not interested in giving our money back. It wasnt , In a nutshell this place does not care about what happens after they get their money. The cars are not worth wasting all that money, go soemwhere where you will be appreciated. I write this so you can see these reviews to prevent you from making the same mistake.
