We shipped a package with this store on a Saturday to a place that does not get delivery by USPS. We were told by the clerk that it would not go out until Monday because their packages had already been sent out for that day. This was no problem since the package was not needed by the business until Friday. During our time at the store, we had a long discussion with the clerk about how we normally use the Postal Service to mail our packages but this place was a very small town and the Postal Service did not deliver to this particular business. He rang up our purchase and we left. We thought everything was fine. On Thursday, the business we shipped to called and said the package had not arrived yet and UPS had already delivered for that day. I looked all over my receipt for a tracking number and could not find one. I called the store and, after many lengthy explanations, was told that the package was send ground with the United States Postal Service. How could this happen!?! I specifically went to the UPS Store because my recipient did not receive mail from USPS and we had a lengthy discussion with the clerk about that when we were there. I was eventually put in contact with the clerk that helped us and he told me "I know you dont want to hear this but I would not just choose a shipping method for a customer. I shipped it that way because you told me to." I told him thank you for not helping me and hung up. What I wanted to hear from him was "sorry we didnt meet your expectations, we will correct this situation any way possible." No such luck. Luckily, I was able to contact the post office in the small town and they were very helpful in locating my package. I will never ship from this UPS store again and am unlikely to use UPS at all in the future. I will stick with my trusty USPS or maybe give FedEx a try as they were very nice when I was looking for an alternative to send my package again before it was located.

THE WORST STAFF EVER!!!!!!!!!! IM HERE RIGHT NOW GETTING A NOTARY DONE FOR MY SON TO GO ON A TRIP WITH MY SISTER AND WAS REJECTED BECAUSE IT WAS SIGNED BY MY HUSBAND BEFORE WE ARRIVED AND ACCEPTED THAT BUT AFTER REPRINTING A PAGE TO NOTARIZE (WHICH IS EXTRA TO USE THE COMPUTER AND PRINT) THEY WOULDNT LET MY HUSBAND SIGN IT ALONE ($10) THEY SAID WE BOTH HAD TO SIGN (AN ADDITIONAL PERSON IS $5) BUT I DIDNT UNDERSTAND WHY, BECAUSE AT FAIRWINDS SEPERATE SIGNATURES WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO US BECAUSE HES NOT A MEMEBER. THEY GAVE US AN ULTIMATUM OF BOTH US SIGNING OR NO NOTARY WOULD TAKE PLACE!!!!!!!! THEY FAILED TO MENTION THAT BEFORE I PRINTED OUT THE PAGE.... SO RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!! THEY WERE RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF I COULD RATE THEM NEGATIVE FOUR STARS, I WOULD BUT AM FORCED TO PUT ATLEAST 1...

We opened a box at this location less than a year ago and now in November 09 this location has already closed. Either the local community failed to utilize the services, or the franchise holder used hired help rather than spending his own sweat equity behind the counter to attempt to make a go of the opportunity. In any case, what an enormous inconvenience to have changed all of our accounts and services to this address and now have to find another similar service that will serve our needs. I would have thought that UPS corp. would at least notify box holders and continue the service for 90 days in order to lessen the blow.

While back I had a terrible interaction with the owner and vowed not to return...but alas its right by my house and with Amazon using UPS a lot it is almost necessary. Each visit with minor, minor exception is the same..unfriendly, bordering on rude, not helpful or accommodating. Im assuming he retired from another industry like a factory or something and decided hey..why not open a UPS franchise. Even the post office is nicer/more helpful by a LOT.

On December 12, 2016 I dropped off my package (large box) with a preprinted return label, but the package was never received/scanned by the UPS driver (meaning it was never given to the driver????). The UPS Store has no surveillance camera(s) to verify that I dropped off the package. The UPS Store and UPS has a HORRIBLE tracking system. I would not recommend using The UPS Store on FL-46 in Sanford.

I went in one time early saturday morning, I walked in and said "Good morning" and the older man whos the store manager says "How may I help you" So he helps me with my package, with no enthusiasm, just extremely serious. Once I was done filling out the address label, I look at him and he looks at me and says "What?!" Without a doubt, the poorest customer service Ive ever experienced. Horrible.

Worst experience ever! Owner/Operator Vic is most definitely in the wrong business. We went in today to have some papers notarized and the man is beyond rude! We were signing papers for a house closing and he told us "that he really does not have the time to stand there while we signed" and we were paying him. Arrogant, rude and just a jerk! Will never go back in there again!

The owner is beyond rude and will not help in any way to lift boxes. Doesnt even offer to hold door. Refuses to have a handtruck. He should not be allowed to be a UPS location, he does not live up to their high standards.
