Customer service was terrible. Gelato although edible was nothing special. Regretted not taking the suggestion of one of my friends to go to TCBY. I could have sampled flavors to my hearts content and chosen from many toppings. I asked the man assisting me ( man with a birthmark) if I could try a little of the coconut to decide if I wanted half coconut and half salted caramel and he rudely said I could not during the arts festival. I said "even if Im buying a large??? " ( $7 for a large) He once again rudely said no..not during the festival....and snarkedly stated because everyone else would want to do the same. I was stunned. I brought 5 other people with me into this shop for gelato. I have been a fan of gelato in the USA and abroad and have never been denied a sample. They clearly dont understand the power of word of mouth. I ordered and stepped aside to pay a very snooty and unfriendly older blonde lady. Ill assume she is the unhappy owner as she was featured in an article I saw on the wall. So disappointed. Left feeling I was talked down to and unappreciated as a customer. Will not be returning or recommending. Yes Mr(s) Owner I am that customer that silently walked away with her sub par gelato that will tell 10 other people....that will tell 10 other people.....that will tell another 10 people......etc....etc.

An eclectic harmony of a place. They serve gelato, wine, cheese, and espresso. I went for the gelato so I cant attest to the other features. I love, love, love the decor of this place, its so fun yet laid back. They have some of the quirkiness that you would expect somewhere else. The variety of wall decor just works for this place. The service was great, he was very helpful in picking out a flavor and giving us samples. I was hoping for the normal gelato flavors but was pleasantly surprised by the unique flavors offered. Salted caramel, honey feta dates and pinenuts, eggnog and espresso, rosemary and cracked black pepper, blood orange olive oil, hard apple cider, bananas and cookies, and etc. I opted for the red velvet mixed with eggnog and espresso, the red velvet had actually pieces of cake in it. The few I tasted were very good. You have to be of an adventurous mind to try these flavors. The did have a few regular flavors to not overwhelm kids like mango and berries. We enjoyed our gelato on the porch of the restaurant. The did have several different sizes of cups and had military discount. I would definitely return to try more things and I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent! My friends and I have been eating here for a while and I love everything about this place, from the delicious and creative gelato flavors, to the friendly customer service, to the beautiful location in a historic home right across the street from the historic Pensacola village, walls in the interior cleverly decorated with campy retro kitsch. What is not to love about this place? Highly recommended if you are downtown and looking for a place to stop in for a treat, and it is a good place for wine, coffee, or flatbread sandwiches too!

This place is fantastic! You need to go in and check out the decor and of course try their gelato! Even the bathroom is crazy! They also take cards which the old owner didnt take. Another awesome thing theyve added is hot food! I had a cheese plate and a flat bread pizza and boy was it good! My girlfriend was impressed. lol. Its nice having food next to the brewery as well because we always get the munchies! Go check it out!

I am really loving this place! The Strawberry Basil Gelato is a must try! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of their products. This is a small and eccentric little café, perfect for grabbing coffee or gelato while you enjoy a nice book. They also offer free guest WiFi! It definitely demands a visit from locals and tourists; its great!

Very cool atmosphere with tons of local art along the walls. Location is great, it is right next to the regular weekend festivals or walking distance from Palafox. Flavors seemed very strong and maybe a little strange, from my perspective. They also serve alcoholic versions. Service was sharp, 3 samples per person allowed.

D&G is Awesome with great history of their building and surroundings. They MAKE the Gelato themselves and it is always so Fresh and Good especially now that summer is upon us. Brenda and Gary are imaginative and creative in their delicious creations and I am a Better Person for indulging. Coffee is really spot on too.

Finally stopped by Dolce for the first time today and it is oh so nice! Love the iced mocha that she whipped up for me and the cheesecake brownie is divine. Now if they could just open up a wee bit earlier so that they could be my morning coffee stop, it would be perfection.

Eh. Its trendy and cute, which doesnt mean much to me. I was hoping for somewhat authentic gelato, but was disappointed to find super sugary americanized gelato. I understand that its hand-made in Pensacola, so I guess I shouldnt have expected anything authentic.

The selection of Gelato is limited. I chose Peach flavor, but it didnt really taste much like Peach. The texture was good, but needed some peach pieces in it to help with flavor. The person behind the counter was very nice and accomadating.

Great, fresh made gelato, a little pricey for the portion size so its a rare treat. Plenty of flavors and a great atmosphere in a historic Pensacola home.

Good gelato, different favors I would never think to try. HORRIBLE customer service. They rush you to pick your flavor and stare while you do.

We were the first customers for the reopening of Dolce & Gelato. Chocolate Chip Pensacola Stout and Cherry Gelato was excellent.
