What a great, little pastry shop! The space is nicely done in warm, live edge wood tables, blacked out rafters, and white washed walls. Items include a variety of macarons, eclairs, tarts, and cakes. Coffee, beer, and wine based drinks are available as well. Items are for carry out or dine in. I recommend staying to enjoy a tasty treat while watching the owners busy at work in the kitchen crafting more delicious confections. I sat at the "bar" area in front of the kitchen. The owners immediately engaged, making me feel welcome. It was great to watch how pastries are made, and have questions happily answered. During our chat, I found out this place does cooking classes. I will definitely be signing up for one of those in the future. For this trip, I enjoyed a wonderful piece of tiramisu. It was a perfect balance of sponge, cream, and coffee. The layers were extremely even, making for a lovely treat. A lemon and blueberry eclair may have also graced my plate. The blueberry compote was extremely fresh and paired well with the light and fluffy cream. Overall, I loved this place. Prices are fair for the amount of work that goes into pastry creation. The owners were so welcoming and that alone is worth repeat visits. You should definitely add the Gallery Pastry Shop to your list of "must visit" places in Indy.

The food was exceptional, but the overall experience was terrible. Our group of 8 arrived on Sunday at 11 am and was told that the wait would be about 40 minutes. The wait ended up being over an hour and a half. The Sunday menu had only four entree options on them, and half of them were sold out. The shop had just opened and they were already out of a good portion of the omlet and crepe toppings. The water itself arrived very warm and I had to ask the waitress to bring us ice. Afterwards when we had to split the bill, they had us remember what each person ordered and split it manually. We ended up just splitting the bill in half since the staff was so unorganized. The pastries were kept unrefriderated the whole day, although they contained milk, cream, cheese, etc. When we got home, we realized that the eclair sand a few other pastries were spoiled and we had to throw them away. The food is limited and expensive and I most definitely will not be coming back.

Pretty much love everything about this place. The decor is funky and cozy, love the live edge wood tables and mismatched but coordinating chairs. The open kitchen is awesome and doesnt make the space inside super noisy like at Milktooth. Went for brunch on a Saturday morning and sat at the bar where you can see everything going on in the kitchen and talk to the chefs. We had the brulee croissant and one savory and one sweet crêpe. Everything was delicious and coffee was really good too! The waiter was super friendly and helpful. If you are pressed for time this might not be the best choice. I dont think service was slow, its just not a quick in and out place for brunch and with the atmosphere you dont want to leave quickly anyway. It does get progressively busier as the morning goes on so the earlier you get there the more likely theyll be a seat at the bar. We will definitely be back!

I had heard good things about this place and had wanted to give it a try for a while. My fiance and i went on Sunday for brunch, we had to wait for a table which was fine. The place was not overly crowded but tables were full. Once we were seated we were not acknowledged one time. We sat there for 10+ minutes wondering if anyone would ever approach us.. I ended up getting frustrated and we got up and walked right out. Im pretty sure no one even noticed we left. There were about 5+ waitresses behind the counter looking like they were "busy" and there was at least 2 waitresses so concerned with cleaning off tables that they didnt even bother to say "ill be with you in one moment." I get better service at Chickfila. It was a let down and my fiance said we are never going back. If you are in from out of town i would not waste my time here.

Ive lived in Europe for a little while, specifically Lyon...the gastronomic capital of the world. So when I found this place I was excited. First, the three little desserts you see in my picture are $26...holy cow Batman...these better be good. The mango cake at the top did not have a taste of mango...mostly vanilla and very sweet. PB&J wasnt bad, but it was too sweet. The lemon meringue crust needed to cook just a bit longer, the lemon needed some more flavor, and the chocolate holding it on the platter should have been sugar...the chocolate came through at times. The desserts looked good but did not live up to the quality that I had become accustomed to while living abroad. My parents shared the. with me and also agreed. And especially for the price, we expected more.

This is a tough place to review. My first experience here was absolutely amazing but I went back recently and was disappointed. The treats here are incredibly expensive, but sometimes good things are. On my recent visit I bought 4 desserts for about $36 and left excited for something delicious. When you pay that much for dessert you expect to be picking the last crumbs out of the box. However, we didnt even finish them, and certainly not because they are large in size as they are quite small. I dont mind splurging for quality, but I also dont like spending big bucks on mediocre pastries.

I took a macaron baking class during the Holiday Baking series that Gallery Pastry Shop offered. Chef Hardy led the class and was very informative and jovial. I learned a lot and can go home and make macarons in my own kitchen now (God of Pastry willing). The price for the class was reasonable given the ingredients and location were supplied and an amazing pastry chef taught the class. I will definitely return.

Loved this place for the rather tasty macaroons and white chocolate some pastry, both of which are gluten free!! Cute place with good ambiance. Hard to find, no signage. Turn in at the building then go all the way to the end of the parking lot and it is there. Will definitely be back for some delicious gluten free treats (and to drool at the lovely looking pastries that arent gluten free).

seriously amazing desserts! 4 stars only because it is a bit pricey. The chocolate bomb is perfectly crafted with the most amazing textures and flavors. The almond croissant is to die for, a MUST TRY! I carried out so cannot comment on service, but the ambiance was casual and trendy, servers were polite and knowledgeable. I will be back!

The brunch is amazingly flavorful. Love sitting at the bar, Chef Ben has created a wonderful atmosphere. Decor is so cool and food to back it up. Beer mimosas and fresh local ingredients... cant even say enough about the desserts that are created and macaroons togo. Is why this is by far one of my favorite places in Indy.

Ive order two custom cakes for both a bridal shower and bachelorette party and both were gorgeous and had a definite "wow" factor. They followed my specific requests and were ready on time and at a very reasonable price! Johnny was super friendly and accommodating every time I came in.
