Today my other half & I decided to stop by Jo Anns for a little bit. I had a new project I wanted to do & figured Jo Anns would help. Lets start off by saying I couldnt find the yarn I was looking for. Its not organized easily for you to find yarn if youre crocheting or knitting something so I had to ask for help to find it. When the woman showed me the yarn she then began to tell me the yarn she showed me would be a horrible idea for what I was trying to do. So I asked her what she recommended me to use. The yarn she recommended was soft however it was obviously way too thin for what I was going for. She noticed I was hesitant about it so she told me "if you dont like it you can return it and get your money back no problem." Awesome right? Not. I ended up not likely the yarn as I expected I wouldnt so maybe 3 hours later I head back to this location to return it. THE SAME WOMAN starts the process to refund me my money & shorts me $20. I paid about $50 dollars and she only gave me $26 and some change back. So I asked her why. She then begins to tell me, whether you have a receipt or not, you only get refunded whatever the lowest selling price is/was on the item. Not exactly what she told me 3 hours before. I am absolutely disappointed that this is the same store I used to visit all the time for my projects I had to complete in my sewing class during high school. Morale of the story: Dont come here. Youll lose your money. Drive a bit further and visit Hobby Lobby or even Michaels.

My husband and I have always loved going to Joanns; however, after moving to Panama City and shopping at this location, we cringe at the thought of needing to go to this location. They have very poor customer service, not willing to fully help you. I needed a part for my cricut and saw online that they had 4 in stock in the store but couldnt find them. When I asked, they werent willing to help me find them or even go to the section or look it up. Luckily, I was paying attention and saw them behind the counter when checking out. The few times we have visited the store, the manager has left a bad taste in our mouth. One time, the associate was checking the person in front of us out and was having an issue and asked the manager to come help. She told her to figure it out on her own, and then when she was still having trouble, the manager came and had a bad attitude and acted like it was so inconvenient to have to walk to the front of the store. She was rude to the customer as well and never made eye contact or acknowledged them. Tonight when we visited, the manager was on her phone talking bad about customers and other employees and how they make her job so much harder. She was adjusting things on the shelves and where I was looking was apparently in her way. She made me move even though I was there first and wait till she was done. She didnt ask if I needed any help and acted like I was such an inconvenience and in her way as I was browsing the store.

It was so very hot in the store that I couldnt enjoy shopping here. Its terrible when the heating and cooling are controlled by a computer that is nowhere near the actual location. They have no idea what the outside temperature is so they cant possibly know how hot it is in the store. I really feel for the employees that are there in it all day long, especially since they have to wear a vest very their clothes. Miserable shopping experience. Doubt I will go back.

I am a life-long seamstress and crafter, so a big fan of Jo-Ann Fabrics... until I moved and this location is my only option. Customer service is atrocious. There are always long lines and slow employees. Poor staffing, poor training, and poor management combine for a disappointing experience. Now I dread when I have no other options but to go to Jo-Ann. I buy 90% of my fabric at Wal-Mart because of the numerous negative experiences I have had here.

While I am very happy to have a Jo-Ann fabrics semi close to where I live, I am very disappointed to find out that the fabrics I have been looking for and calling about are actually being purchased by a team member in bulk before they even hit the shelves for the customers. I dont feel that should be allowed. I am very disappointed and now would much rather buy fabric from other companys.

The manager here is rude and they put all of the clearance items in boxes without price. The problem with this is that when all kinds off other stuff gets mixed in and you go to check out they are regular price. Witch is not cheap especially when your trying to start a business.

Sandy the cashier was very rude and her tone was offensive and she grabbed the phone out of my hand to ise my coupon. Erin in fabrics was amazing. She went above and beyond her job and she is the reason I will be back. Thank you Erin. You Rock.

Very friendly service. Some of the prices are a little high but their app has coupons to help with costs. Also they will match ANY competitors coupons, even online store coupons which can really rack up a big savings.

Love the craft options. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are ok,better when on sale but can always get coupons. Wish certain items were included with coupons (like Cricut)
