Was shopping for furniture for my first house. Looked tons at every store and review. This store---Unique looking furniture. But the quality appeared lacking vs price, and I dont mean store operator assembled badly but rather things that shouldve been better assembled in factory. I saw a lot of Ashley furniture pieces(Ashley furniture doesnt get good grades on Internet, and I saw maybe 20-30% of their stock had Ashley labels on them) that I suspect were overruns. Why people pay these prices for this quality, Ill never understand. I guess I can see it, but wasnt my cup of tea. Lots and lots of MDF, chipped out veneers that showed either finish or construction wasnt too good to begin with, drawers that wouldnt open properly, rarely dovetailed even on $1500+ pieces(those that were dovetailed had near $2500+ prices). Brads that were sticking out inside drawers. Wobbly night stands on even floors. Beds that feel flimsy when you shake them. Hanging screws inside drawers. Pull out drawers on beds that were askew when closed. Prices that were about double larger cheap box stores(which I thought was similar in quality) and about same as more reputable big box stores, but again quality issues in comparison to those that are more reputable big box stores. Saw lots of crude finishes on drawers that were $2500+, apparently defects from the factory. At the prices I saw, I expect Drexel, Stickley, Union quality. Although they had lots of cheaper stuff as well. Lots and lots of variation in prices. The good part of the store was they did have unique looking pieces, not of the norm; some I thought was attractive and unusual. Perhaps lots of over runs, experimental pieces, bankrupt company pieces?? Not sure. I personally wouldnt buy them at the prices they had though. Some pieces were higher quality, but expensive and not a value imao and often showed workmanship flaws, even though other parts of the piece were higher quality. I felt like this store was for people looking for unusual looking furniture on the internet, that perhaps they couldnt find in their usual local stores. Being interested in brick mortar stores so I can try out the pieces, I didnt like their prices or selection but its personal preference I guess. I still have to give them below average marks based on my opinion. The trade off to the unusual looking pieces, would be workmanship. I for one bought at another store a new Drexel Heritage sofa for $640 recently with enough persistence during a clearance sale. Nothing quite like that kinda bargain in this store that I saw. And for $2000+, I would want a bed for example that I cant shake or make wobble with one hand and I wouldnt take no MDF.

*****I definitely will never recommend or do business with them again, I purchased a Sectional from there on 12/18/2013, Obed was an awesome Salesman I was happy with the service I wanted my furniture asap, and was told If I needed it asap I could pick it up, so I did the following day. Everything was completely sealed from Factory so I thought I shouldnt have any issues, by the time I got it home and removed all of the plastic, foam and cardboard the main sofa was ripped I right away and called the Manager he claims he checked it himself I doubt it; like I said it was Factory wrapping he said he would have the salesman call me the following day I got nothing so I emailed the salesman and finally spoke to him because I kept calling, he said he would see what can be done, he didnt have another one on the floor so he emailed me the insurance information to see what they can do since I purchased a special plan; I thought they had no information on my purchase, this went on through the Month of January via emails, phone calls, text messages nothing fixed, or replaced ....Finally I called Obed and told him I wanted the furniture picked up and wanted to return it, because I wasnt going to pay for damaged furniture, Finally they had someone from the insurance company come out to look at the furniture; it now is 2/28/2014 and nothing has been fixed, replaced havent heard from the Insurance company, 3 1/2 weeks ago I requested they pick up the furniture once again Im getting the run around, I was told to call the Finance Company, they tell me to call the dealer.....And I am being told now they dont take returns............Be Aware dont do business with them they are nice and helpful until they get you out of the store, I will have to drop off the furniture on there door step because I will not pay for damaged furniture, especially when I havent damaged it.

IT HAS BEEN HORRIBLE!!! From day one there has been an IMMENSE amount of incompetence. I originally tried to place an order which they were unable to complete due to their computer system. The sales associate was to call me back in 30 minutes which NEVER happened. 5 hours later I called again and was told yet again she would call me back. NEVER HAPPENED. I called the next day they were FINALLY able to place the order and all of a sudden the original delivery date went from Dec 10th to Dec 16th. Because of a one day delay DUE TO THEIR INCOMPETENCE my delivery was now delayed by a week. A week later I get a call from the finance company asking me if I received all of my furniture I told them I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING....well I then called the store and was told that my delivery was scheduled for the next day. I asked her why I was not called to confirm that the time they had set up for delivery was good for me. She then changed the time from between 12&4 to between 12&1. The day of delivery I call at 12:15 to make sure they would be here BEFORE 1:00PM only to be told that all of the pieces of my furniture had not arrived. WTH why would delivery be scheduled if you havent even received all the pieces to my furniture. Obed, the manager, is telling me that it will all be delivered today but needless to say I am not counting on it. You can BEST BELIEVE I will NEVER patronize them EVER again. And I will discourage ANYONE else from having to deal with the immense amount of incompetence.

Just moved out from another state and heard positive reviews about Quality Furniture Discounts. In my visit I was greeted with great customer service. Why a low score is because I was mislead into purchasing the furniture. I was told that I can get a "loan" and was qualified for a "loan". I paid my down payment and received the furniture. Looking in to my "loan" I have read the fine print and realized that it was not a loan at all but a LEASE AGREEMENT. If I was to payoff the lease I will be charged as high as 10% more of the purchase price, and this was in a 90 day option. If I wanted a lease agreement, I would have went to Rent A Center or Aarons for this. I would recommend not going for the "loan option" that they advise because either they are not aware of the product or they basically are just trying to get the sale by any means. Very disappointing because now I have to contact this TEMPOE company and figure out a manner in which they can come and pick up this furniture, that I am not willing to pay double the price for nor rent for 18 months.
