I went into the Altamonte Springs store looking to purchase 2 sofas. The sales lady explained that all lazyboy furniture came with warranties and fabric protection that covered a long list of items. When I went to the counter to purchase the sofas, she stated that there was a 99$ charge to get the fabric protection $99 for each sofa. I reminded her that she did NOT tell us there was a charge for this and she stated she was sorry for the misunderstanding. The person with me stated they heard the same thing I heard that it "came with" this protection. The saleslady then stated " how about if we split that cost with you?" So I agreed. She then comes back and said " we cant do that" with the fabric protection. At this point I stated " never mind, I will go somewhere else." at this point she asked me what price point would I need to see in order to purchase the sofas. The sofas were 729 each. I told her I wouldnt want to pay more that 1500 for both WITH the protection. She has the manager come over and adjusts the invoice. She then presents me with the invoice and states " here you go with no protection" now I was really starting to get aggravated because I wanted the fabric protection so I said just give he the protection so I can go. Next, she over charges me! So I point that out and after someone coming over to help her, they get the invoice right and I leave. After I get home I look on their website to view the sofas I just purchased and there they are. 25$ cheaper than what I paid. So I begin calling the store because they have the guarantee if you find the same item with a lower price they will adjust. Mind you, this lower price was on the LAZYBOY website! After leaving 6 messages, she finally calls me back. Her voicemail stated that the price she gave me is lower than what thy are advertising in their website and I received a great deal. Yes, today the price has went up but it was advertised at the lower price for the entire last week when she hadnt called me back! I had also inquired about financing. She stated they had financing but they require you put 50 percent down and have it paid off prior to the furniture being delivered. Mind you, the delivery was in 6 days so what type of financing is that? This was my first and last time ever purchasing lazyboy furniture. I hope they enjoy the money they received from me since they will never get another penny from me.

When I entered this store, there were 5 sales people visible. Two were with customers and three were chatting with each other, none of them had a customer. None of the three even acknowledged my existence. I walked into that store ready to purchase a sofa. I walked around the entire store, alone, looking at sofas. No one approached me. I left the store and walked next door to Hudsons Furniture. Upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted with a warm and friendly hello. When I left the store, I had purchased a new sofa. Now, I ask you this question: could it have been that I did not look like that I had money to purchase something as to why no one at La-Z-Boy wanted to help me? I was dressed in jeans, a college t-shirt and sneakers. Well gang, it just goes to show you that you cannot judge a book by its cover. In this economy, I would think that sales associates would be all over a living, breathing warm body. La-Z-Boy, you need to seriously retrain your sales associates. It was La-Z-Boys loss and Hudsons gain.

Have had at least 10 recliners over the past 25 years; loved them everyone. Some still in use as hand-me-downs and still being loved. Trying to buy my 94 Yr Old Mom (blind and deaf and cant walk) a Lazy Boy lift recliner with secure place for cup of coffee on one side and a cup holder on other side for her cell phone. It must have plenty of padding in her seat to protect her boney behind that is in constant pain from too many falls. I would put in the heater but leave out the vibrator (too old for that) And importantly Id have a place on the side for her to store her Bible and her small mobile magnifying light. And it would have adjustable neck and lumbar support. Lazy Boy if you read this please make such a chair soon. Im 75 and already need that exact chair. The seats in your current lifts are hard and definitely not cushy

My wife and I just bought a house full of furniture from La-Z-Boy. Would have NEVER thought about them as they have an "old grandpa chair" reputation in my head. Quite the contrary. Stopped in and were pleasantly surprised. They sent an interior designer to our house to measure and talk to us about what style we were going for and look at what art we planned to hang. A few days later, we returned to the store and he had made a huge mood board with furniture, rugs, fabric ideas, colors. It was AWESOME especially since it was all free regardless of if we bought anything or not. We bought everything he recommended and the house looks great.

After searching Ashleys and Rooms-To-Go, and being pushed to purchase a sofa we didnt really want at Hudsons, my fiancee and I went into La-Z-Boy. They literally had the only comfortable sofas of the stores I mentioned. We knew their furniture would be expensive, but the quality more than makes up for the price. Immediately we were greeted and shown what we were looking for: a sectional that we could add onto later and that would last a long time. The salesperson was a huge help. She gave us a great deal, worked hard to get us financing, and fought to get our new purchase delivered when we needed it. I highly recommend La-Z-Boy.

We had an awesome experience at the Altamonte store! Carrie and Rod were very helpful and knowledgable. They made shopping for living room furniture a pleasure. They listened to what we wanted and showed us many options and helped us design our new living room. They even carried furniture around to help us visualize what the room would look like with all the pieces together. Best furniture shopping experience ever! The manager was also very attentive and helpful! Thank you Laz-Boy!

Was there four times this week, Carrie was my sales girl.. there arent enough words to describe this lady, she is most helpful and very knowledgeable about the chairs, makes you feel like family and she bent over backwards to gain my 100% satisfaction with just the perfect chair. Love my chair.... love her and she will always be my girl A+ Thank you Carrie.

Gennie has excellent follow-up skills and is really concerned with getting the customer (my wife and I) the right piece of furniture at the right price. Gennie made a very difficult delivery happen.
