Terrible Experience I went here on 1-2-2012 since it was a 24-hour. Dropped off a prescription and told the pharmacy tech about my previous HMO discontinuing its services and that I got a new one. So, the tech told me one of my two prescriptions was going to be $360. I said that I cant afford that and his response was "I know, but a few of us can afford it". Way to make someone feel like scum. Afterwards, as if nothing happened, the tech gave me what information I had to give them. I went back the next day (1-3-2012) after calling the new HMO for the information. I waited 2 hours because the head pharmacist on staff said that "their systems are being updated for new insurances and this happens every year." However, they did give me a couple of pills to get me through. At 9:45 that evening, I called the store and heard that my prescription was ready. Got there and they STILL were having the same problem. Fed up, I kindly asked for my script back and left. I will NOT step foot in there EVER again!

This has always been my least favorite Walgreens location. I used to go to it for a couple years only because it was right near my job, however the huge majority of my experiences there were so bad so I started going to the Walgreens on 17/92 and Highbanks...even though it was out of my way. Wow, the difference in customer service and quality of personnel is shocking! The pleasant experience at the 17/92 & Highbanks location far outweighed the slight inconvenience of driving a couple miles more. Well, its been about two and half years since Ive been back and nothing has changed...Im speaking particulary about their Photo Department employees...even the manager today spoke to me as if I didnt know what I was talking about. When he realized my order was actually in the bin (since he didnt bother to check it untill I insisted THIS was the store I sent the order to), there was no apology for giving me a hard time. If you want EXCELLENT customer service go to the 17/92 & Highbanks location!!

My son needed his medicine for his disorder ado we went up there and they said it would take 5 days to get so we asked them if another Walgreens had it they explained to us that the medicine is on back order and nobody had iur so my son went 3 days without medicine until we good a phone call from corporate office that the medicine has been in another Walgreens the whole time and they lied to us about it being on back order they didnt even try to call the other store even thought they says they did. Very unprofessional and never will come here again

I didnt know what to expect. My son wanted to "do Karate", and I investigated. Went to 6 schools in the area. Found some other "good" schools, but found that this school had a completely different approach. They use the "Karate" part to teach the "Character" part (which is what I wanted my son to get out of it to begin with). They teach some really great "character skills" in a way that the students really like, and inspire them to "want to be" respectful and have self-discipline. We love it!

Horrible customer service, they decide whether they want to take your coupons or not.... I get told " well you are already getting one for free, so I am not going to take this other one." They are rude, the store is always a mess and the majority of the sales associates look unprofessional and dirty. I will not go back unless this store gets a complete overhaul of its personnel.

Waited in drive thru for 10 minutes with only one car in front of me, they had a problem with their prescription and let them just sit there instead of having them go into the store. Why must we all wait because they have an issue. I finally had to go in and then waited another 10-15 minutes. Not happy.

Best Walgreens store! As the flagship West Volusia store, and the closest pharmacy to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, they do a huge volume and some people who are already stressed out may be unhappy. But they do a great job in pharmacy, front end, and liquor. And for 24 hours a day.

Took my daughters epi pen to be replaced due to a recall and they were anything but helpful. In fact they were rude and told me that they wont help because they wont take the voucher foe the epi pen replacement. I changed my pharmacy after this incident.

I was actually told once if I wanted better service I should take my scripts somewhere else, normally I would but figured I would have the same trouble. They are typical chain company with herd mentality and now they no longer have 24 pharmacy.

THIS is the Walgreens you need for any prescription filled for Florida health Care plans! Its the only one in the area! The staff isnt always the most helpful, but if you need to go to a Walgreens, might as well be this one.
