The Good, The Bad, The Ugly The Good This review is two-fold so Id like to start with the good. Josh is one of the best things that couldve happened to this location. He is patient, understanding, and more than determined to ensure the customer experience is pleasurable. I approached Josh in a bit of frustration after being conned to change cell phone providers and acquire 4 new devices (Ill get to the bad and ugly later). Although this return process would take more than an hour, Josh was up for the task. He never made me feel as though I frustrated or inconvenienced him. He was honest and clear and informed me about the process every step of the way. The supervisor on duty was also great and although I was disappointed with the situation, they made my return experience great and vowed to assist me in the future, if needed. Make sure you ask for Josh when visiting this location. Hes awesome! The Bad/Ugly Now, dont get me wrong, the employees overall are very charming and nice, even the one that Ill discuss in a moment. However, if I hate anything on this earth, its a liar and a manipulator. After visiting this location to get a phone upgrade, Steven, told me that he could save me money (because my cellular bill is expensive) if I switched to Sprint. Now, of course, I didnt jump on this deal because I know that theres always a catch. So I returned later that evening with my husband to discuss this further with him. We asked several questions yet he convinced us that we would save money, that the service was great, and that wed have all of the perks that we had with AT&T. "The lies you tell Steven!" The next day, we experienced dropped calls; had to use the good old phrase, "Can you hear me now? during calls; and found out that our bill would be the same price that it always has been. What Steven failed to tell us is that if we switched carriers, we would not have the same services or perks that we had with AT&T. Once we switched and called Sprint to add on an equivalent package, the bill came out to be the SAME PRICE! Whats the biggest difference you ask??? Now the service SUCKED!! Furthermore, during the process he said that he had to run a soft credit check, which would not affect my credit score nor show up on my credit report! "The lies you tell!" The sad part is that I asked him multiple times if a full report would conducted and told him that I was in the process of buying a home, so I couldnt afford to have anyone make inquiries at this time. Today, I received a notice from Sprint that they used EXPERIAN to run a credit check. WHAT THE **** STEVEN! The sad part is that he seemed to be a nice person that claimed he had nothing to gain for us switching carriers (unlike the people working at the Sprint store). Obviously you did because not only did you compromise your integrity and customer trust, but you potentially screwed up my opportunity to be a homeowner for the sake of a sale. Was it really worth it? I learned a huge lesson and may have consequences as a result. However, one thing I wont do is buy, renew, or conduct any cell phone related business with Best Buy again.

Associates want to tell you they *dont have an item instead of helping you locate the item. I told a young girl that I had checked the aisles for this movie (showed her on my phone) and that it said there were 3 or less left, but I couldnt find it. Can you help me find it? Her first response was "Oh, that means how many they have online, youll have to get it online." I replied and showed phone, "It says less than 3 inside this Ocoee store." She said, "Oh, then go ask at customer service." So I go and this young boy takes my phone, looks over the webpage then takes me to go look. He wandered around all the dvd aisles exactly as I had. Then says maybe the numbers were wrong and we dont have it, let me check the computer again. I wait and start digging through the messy bin thinking maybe its thrown in there. Nope. He comes back and says, the numbers must be wrong. We dont have any left. (Made no sense for him to come to that conclusion so I ask "Shouldnt we have (at least) found a spot where they go, with the sticker title, but empty? Does your computer say where to look? What aisle?" (The movies are in abc order, but in many different categories all over the place). He says yes it should and hell check his computer. I decide to look one last time, and in a section next to (non)movies is a *tiny "anime section". And there it was, 3 of them as it said online, for THIS store. All BOTH associates needed to KNOW and DO was say, "Oh, this is an Anime dvd, we have an Anime section, let me take you to it." Instead they wanted to be "no" people and to make NO sale within the store from me, at least. He was still poking at his computer when I walked up and he said you found it? I said yes, you have an Anime section. He said "oh ok good" and nothing else. By the way, I am friendly and polite by nature and remained so and not fake. When I went to check out the first "no" girl was now behind the counter. She said Oh, you found it? I said yes, it turns out you have an Anime section. She offered no apology and gave a very fake have a nice da-ay and didnt thank me when I made a donation that their checkout machine asked me for. (All other businesses say thanks every time). I do not want this business to go out of business like so many have around here. But trying to just say "we must not have it", loses the store money and customers. My next stop wouldve been in-store from walmart down the street, target, or 1 day Amazon Prime. NOT Best Buy online. They need to be *trained on customer service, how to locate items and be familiar with the store and how its set up. Id prefer the movies to all just be in abc order instead of categories thrown around. Then the customers only need to know their abcs and not the stores categories and layout. The biggest problem though, was the associates. My experience today means Ill stick with other stores with associates that know what their job is and how to do it. These associates couldnt have cared less. I really hope they improve.

Terrible experience at Best Buy Store #443. Each person I spoke to knew less about the return policy. I was told I had 3 months (I have a witness) to return a Samsung TV. 65 days after purchase, they told me that it had already been 3 months. (Managers name is Henry.) Both managers were terribly rude! They said there was nothing I can do. As I was saying I was told I had 3 months, he said you did have 3 months. So apparently, you dont need to know how to add or subtract single digit numbers to become a manager at best buy, since this purchase was just over 2 months. I called customer care who stayed on the phone with me for about an hour before talking to his manager and calling me back with a solution. He said Henry will do his best to assist me in returning it. I thanked Royce over the phone. When I called the store to find out when Harry was available, he did not come to the phone. He told Matt (who answered the phone) that I cant take it back since its been more than 30 days. To be honest, I was surprised when Royce told me that Henry really wanted to help me, because he certainly was rude to my daughter and I. So I called customer care (again) and they took care of me with a reasonable solution. If you have a bad experience with this store, Customer Care seems to take good care of the incident and will escalate your issue. In this economy, no business needs to have employees like Henry or the other rude rotten manager. Actually there is no reason to even suffer at this store since theres a nicer, cleaner, more knowledgeable staff in Fowlers Grove. I have never written a complaint on line, but Best Buy seems to get a lot of business. If you need electronics in that neighborhood, you will receive MUCH BETTER customer service and KNOWLEDGABLE sales people down the street at HH Gregg. Dont visit the Best Buy on Colonial. You will be sorry that you didnt just go to HHGregg. (HH Greg is sending over a technician to fix a TV for me. I dont even have to take it to the store.--you think best buy will do that? I would have given this store in Ocoee a worse description than poor-fair. I think best buy might have to change this in order to receive accurate reviews of their staff and customer service. Skip this location and you wont regret it for a minute.
