Long time Carmines shopper. Tried your new store. Nice preperation and very good value. Especially liked the wine tasting element. Enjoy a glass while shopping for dinner? a no brainer. Until...Nick who says he is the owner gives me a lecture on wine and how he cant give me a different blend even though I didnt touch the wine poured because it was so corked I could smell it from a few inches away. I will never be back and as far as Nick is concerned...wipe your nose, go to Carmines, and learn something about customer service. Or even publix! F.Y.I. Iam a C.I.A. grad and have been on the food network since 2004! See you on the net. Good luck, your going to need it!

I bought what I thought was a nice, "stuffed veal breast" for Easter dinner. However, what I got was 5 pounds worth of fat, bone and cartilage. Lucky for me I made sides and good thing we didt have company. The only edible part of meat was maybe a 1/4 cup worth, if that. I know how to cook I cook all the time, in fact, its a hobby of mine. So I know it was not an error in cooking time. I should have taken the drive across the bridge and shopped elsewhere. This was my 3rd time shopping there and 2nd time that Ive gotten food that was not edible. Three strikes Doris.

The bakery is awesome. Im always in search of the best cheese danish and I have finally found it here. FYI - If you put it in a toaster, its even more amazing! The staff is helpful too, it was my first visit and I was overwhelmed by all the choices- they have everything you can imagine in their bakery. The woman explained how its all made fresh in the back. They also have a great selection of fruits and veggies. High quality items and lots of choices. Ill be back whenever were in town.

was thrilled when doris market came to the north county area. probably was in the store 2-3 times every week buying pastry, breads and fruits& vegetables. bought a store packaged item from the bakery dept last week that had a use by 3/31 label. when I went to open it two days ago, the top label peeled off revealing a use by 3/18 date. very disappointed that a high end market known for their freshness and quality items would pull a stunt like that to save $7.00.

I absolutely love Doris. The produce is more affordable than Publix, as is the seafood. They have countless kinds of cheese and this is my go-to spot for putting together a charcuterie board. They also have warm and cold grab-and-go food options, so you can stop in for lunch or dinner. Be sure to enjoy your food outdoors on the bocci court!

Best food, wonderful service. Antonio in the deli department gives the best customer service. His knowledge on the foods is very helpful. Antonio and Lisa make the best sandwiches. Thank you for opening up such a wonderful store. Gloria on the front end is always a pleasure to check out with. Love this place!

Doris vs Josephs Market When you think New England Clam Chowder you probably dont think Italian Deli. You need to reprogram how you think about food. Doris New England [the white creamy one] Chowder is best Ive had since Legal Seafood in Boston Airport. Josephs ? Ehhhhh weird texture VERY bland.

What a great market! Fresh produce, meat, fish, fantastic selection of freshly made real Italian foods, an on site bakery, deli & gelato bar,and a really nice wine selection you wont find elsewhere. Easy to get in and out of. Look no farther - this place is heaven!

Its a treat to go there! I always find what Im looking for and they have great produce and the meat department is excellent. I find myself trying new recipes because I get inspired when I see things that other markets dont carry. LOVE this store!

My wife and I stop on February 14, 2016. Great store helpful friendly staff. A mom and pop feel with great prices. I think they will give competitors a run for their money. Stop in youll like it. On a closing note easy parking for all needs.

I like the place a lot despite some bad reviews here. In fact they have much better pricing than Publix on many items and many European products. They just opened this location so give them a break!

Forgedaboutit! Best Godfather Ive had since Corona 1995 This place is dangerous. Everything I used to have back in Queens. Ill probably put on 10 lbs. before the end of the year.
