Hi the previous comment is from the owner Ali Alwani himself he thinks writing a comment on this with his name will change anything what he sells in store. Now lets see the meat in the store is expired and smells bad so much that I had to wash my whole car to take the smell out. I took it to him he is like no its ok and there is nothing wrong with it and he did not refund my money for it either. So my question to him would be will you feed his to your own children the type of food you are sells in your store. Most of the items are expired in his fridge and freezer and just a helpful note do not buy frozen chicken patty from him they are expired he removes the date from it so we dont know it my son got sick after eating it for lunch. I have nothing against the owner or anything but the way he talks to his costumes is really disrespectful and he hires dumb idiot who cant even help and or speak English. So please boycott this vendor there are many more Indian Pakistani Bangladeshi stores open in the area plus this place is a rip-off.

What a wonderful surprise I had walking into this well stocked North Miami Beach grocery! By far, this is the best source in Miami for anything Indian. It has a great selection of spices, grains, breads, sweets, frozen delicacies and miscelaneous products. I went in just to buy curry powder and walked out with a most delicious assortment of goodies. In addition to two different types of curry powder, I picked out a jar of chutney, a jar of byriani paste, one of vindaloo paste and another one of Madras curry paste. Also, a package of Punjabi Masala Papad, a package of frozen Vegetable Paratha, a packet of Navrattan spciy snacks....all delicious!!! And to top it off, my favorite desert in the world -- Rasmalai with saffron and pistachios in rosewater -- out of this world! And best of all, I spent less than $25. The owner is extremely helpful and knowlegeable so I even walked out with a few recipes and cooking tips. This is a must stop for anyone who enjoys Indian food and culture.

Found this Indian supermarket after doing a web search for an Indian markets, because my wife and I were looking for spices and chutneys for recipes that we found online. We love Indian food and tried cooking with basic American supermarket fare, and our food is good, but it still is missing a little something. The gentleman who owns the place was more than helpful, gave me some cooking tips, let me taste some traditional Indian desserts, and even wrote down some names of ingredients that we needed to find elsewhere. I really was amazed with the selection, there was just too many kinds of flavor options. I picked out a few chutneys, spices, Fresh Naan bread, and these little bread balls in a sweet sauce. I got enough to get my Indian on for a bit... then I will run back for some more meal ideas. LOVE THIS PLACE...

The owner of this place is very rude, racist person. I came here first time and he asked me about my origin and he was sort of racist coz he didnt like the place I came from and was saying bad things. Then another time I asked him to give me a discount, he raised his voice and shout at me. Very rude person. I will never shop from here again. Those people never learn how to take care of their customers, and they dont realize they are loosing customers. Bad reviews in every where.

Good selection of South Asian stock foods ( lentils, spices etc), goodies, veggies.. and movies too, all reasonably priced. Owners are friendly and help out customers with how to use any quaint item, be it henna or hing. There are also samosas (veg/meat) kept in a warmer brought in daily from a restaurant in Ft Lauderdale to satisfy quick munchies.

Not too big store but full with eastern goods for kitchen magic. The man at register (probably owner) was super nice, knowing about all items in store, not just where they are but what therre good for, how to use them and some cultaral background of that ingredient came with the recepies too! This store is a nice, small hidden treasure.
