Visita aconsejable.-

This Walmart location is an Disneyland adventure for every shopper of any age, culture or national origin! Luckily my Spanish was good enough to ask about certain items, alas, the Spanish-speaking workers (which are most of them) still didnt know where anything was. The Haitian Creole speaking workers are always angry and pissed they have to work there (well, who wouldnt be?), so trying to guessing if that black employee will be American or Caribbean is a fun game/thrill ride! Another thrilling game is "Guess-What-Youll-Pay?" As most items have no price posted on the shelf (if theyre on the correct shelf in the first place), you get to decide on the spot if you are willing to pay $5, $10 or over $50! It all comes together at the cashiers when you find out exactly what it costs. Dont try to find one of the price checkers and God forbid you try to ask one of the workers where one is (Spanish= "yo no se!" and Haitian Creole/French=silent blank, angry stares). Keep an eye on your shopping cart because if you leave it out of sight for a few minutes, itll disappear. I dont think its one of the workers taking it to put the items back in the totally wrong places. Im guessing one of the unwashed masses that shop there just take the cart, dump the contents out on the nearest shelf and do their own shopping (instead of taking a cart when they enter the store) because the average customer there seems to have the IQ of a shopping cart... except the carts have some use to society. When the time comes to escape and drive out of the parking lot, be very careful as there will be a.) a car parked right behind you as they the driver tries to remember where they are and what they are doing there, b.) 14 people will be climbing out of the car, even if its not right by the entrance to the store, or c.) a person or persons are walking in the middle of the lane at a pace of 1 mile per week, totally oblivious to the fact theyre in the middle of a parking lot. Of course, the usual three police cars parked in the front of the building is a testament to the safety and kind of customers you will find here. Shop online if at all possible and count the shipping charges as a luxury for not having to go to this location.

An unpleasant experience from the beginning to the end. The parking lot is very small in size and NEVER enough space to park having to park about a 5 minute walk from the store around the rear or far away. Not a safe walk surrounded by loiterers and shady individuals canvassing the parking lot. NEVER enough shopping carts, the carts are in disrepair and rundown with wheels that are dysfunctional or simply do not exist and are scattered a distance from the store where the customer is obligated to retrieve same in the 93 degree summer heat. The selection of fresh produce is pathetic from the bruised fruit to the outdated vegetables, all in short supply. The checkout process is an utter nightmare having to wait on average 10-15 minutes with lines always 6-10 deep while your cold food turns warm. NEVER enough cashiers to fill the available checkout counters. Management is incompetent and useless. The aisles and displays are filthy and disheveled. The parking lot is filthy. The entire location and surrounding area is neglected, blighted, and an embarrassment to the residents of north-dade and NMB. Its shocking and depressing to drive to the store and to see the neglect and decay that has occurred to the surrounding area over the years.

I tried calling this Walmart store to inquire about a type of shampoo. The person quickly picked up and tried transferring me to the Cosmetics department. After 7 minutes on hold and no one picking up, she picked back up asking who I was waiting for. I told her I was still waiting for the Cosmetics department, and it would probably be quicker if I.....before I could finish my sentence she put me back on hold. At about the 11 minute mark, she picked back up saying shes trying to locate someone, but theyre kinda busy, so I go back on hold. After 16 minutes of being on hold, she picks back up saying shes going to go check on the product herself. At the 20 minute mark, a gentleman picks up and asks who Im holding for. I then ask to speak to a manager. I go back on hold and still have not talked to a manager after 45 minutes of calling this store!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats insane! No wonder this store gets 2 1/2 stars on google reviews! I hope this comment helps either get someone fired or severely reprimanded (preferably the store manager or someone in Cosmetics if there is someone even working there). 45 minutes on the phone waiting for anyone is ridiculous especially since all I wanted was to check to see if a simple product was in stock.
