HORRENDOUS experience. "You get what you pay for." Dont be fooled by the $99 scuba course price tag. LITERALLY took 6 months to get our scuba cards (2 of us got certified there) and they lost them MULTIPLE times. Had to call NAUI multiple times just to get through to the dive shop because the shop simply wont answer your calls. Seems like they just dont care. Theyll tell you they do certification dives "every other weekend" but that is a lie. They do it rarely and only when convenient to them. Took us 2 months! just to get a cert dive after the class. If there was one positive itd be that the instructor is actually good at teaching the material, probably due to the fact that he teaches high school. Its truly a shame though because whatever effectiveness is gained by the teaching style is quickly washed away by his overwhelming sense of superiority and trying to belittle you for asking questions. Overall, HEED THESE WARNINGS AND DO NOT GO HERE. IF YOU DO, YOULL BE SORRY YOU DID AND GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR DIVE CARD IN ANY TIMELY MANNER! MARK MY WORDS AND DONT LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES.!!!!!

All I have to say is you get what you pay for. Dont get me wrong, Dennis is a great guy but his lack of communication skills is absolutely terrible. I tried emailing him 5 times trying to reserve a spot to finish my certification and he never responded. What a total waste of time and money. Its been over 6 months and I still never got to finish my certification after several attempts to contact Dennis, I even called the shop multiple times with no answer. Id rather pay the 2-300 dollars it would cost to have my certification done right not all this bullshit where you pay for it then barely ever hear back from the guy. If I could rate this a 0 I would. If I were you guys Id take my money elsewhere

Dennis is a great guy and an even better instructor. Was very knowledgeable and I had a great experience getting my certification from them. I shopped around from store to store, trying to find a reasonable price to get certified. I couldnt find a place that cost under $400, but they offer their course and dives for only $99! Other stores hold a grudge because of their price so I truly believe any negative reviews are from other shops that are mad that they provide such a reasonable price in order to spread the hobby that lower income people normally cant afford. Great people and a great shop!!

My wife and I just completed the NAUI SCUBA course today and it was an amazing experience. Dennis did a fantastic job at teaching the course in the classroom and in the pool / springs. He is very personable and always had a professional and patient teaching method. I highly recommend using Super Sports and SCUBA if you are thinking of getting dive certified. The dive shop is nice and was very reasonable on prices, especially with the student discount. We will definitely use this shop to purchase the remainder of the SCUBA gear.

The staff at super sports and scuba are true professionals in the field. The instructor was the best and his priority is sending out quality divers who are prepared for any situation that may present itself underwater. People are not meant to live underwater so SCUBA is a series of executable tasks allowing you to survive in that environment. Completed the Scuba Diver course on 8/17. Dennis was an excellent instructor. Knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to pass on his teachings to all of us. The course moved at the students pace before going to the next skills. I will be going back to this shop for my Advance Diver class. I recommend this to those in the area looking for a great opportunity to explore the underwater world!

I had a great experience. The instructor is professional, knowledgeable, and personal. The book work was only one day but I learned a lot and his experience as a high school teacher made him a great instructor. The dives with him were fun and I definitely felt safe and am comfortable going on dives now. Great value and I recommend him to anyone.

Horrible shop with horrible employees. The instructor makes rude and make offensive remarks and fails to keep communication. Cancels dives ,but refuses to give a refund. If this business was respectable and cared about its customers, it would give a refund, but the business is shady.
