I cant believe no other local fishermen have reviewed this bait/tackle shop. Ive been going to Anclote B n T for years. They dont know me by name or looks as I only get out fishing maybe once a month, but I always stop by there for all of my fishing supplies. They are always friendly and helpful. I never get the shoulder shrugs, half answers to newbies, or disinterested looks and treatment that I get at other shops.They almost always have fresh livebait when other shops dont. The frozen bait is always good and theres several chum selections too. The fishing tackle is both excellent choice and competitively priced. They have EVERYTHING you need to go fishing and many fishing related items that you just dont think of unless youre in a well stocked store. They also have good deals on buckets of ice. If you dont have an ice bucket they sell them on premise. I would highly recommend visiting Anclote Bait n Tackle to both the novice or expert fisherman.

Decent local bait shop, but the prices are very high for jig heads, sinkers, and hooks. You are better off getting those at Walmart. They have good live bait with a good count on shrimp, and they also carry creek chubs. The friendliness of the staff is hit or miss, depending on who is working the counter. I frequent their store a couple times a week, but I dont go out of my way to go there, only if they are closest to where I am fishing.

Very competitive pricing. Great, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The owner helped my wife find a holster for her new hand gun. Me being old school (leather or nylon belt clip) didnt have enough knowledge of the newer styles. He spent at least 45 min helping her out giving pros and cons. Definitely going back for more equipment.

Been there multiple times and evrytime i go no matter how early they never have any big shrimp. Their live bait selection is slim. Seems like all the want to do is play with their guns. They dont want to deal with us fisherman anymore. Im going else where.

Love the new drive-through set up you can pull right up and buy buckets of ice load them right on your boat get your box threadfinds and be ready to go in minutes! if you forgot something chances are they have it, nice friendly people too, love this place
