This was the most cluttered pet shop that Ive ever been in. They have the same amount of stuff as one of the big box type pet stores, all crammed into a tiny shop. The fish tanks all had alge, but all of the fish I saw were clean and healthy, no dead floaters like youd see in some of the other big named stores. I dont like the way their snakes are housed, large ball pythons in 20 gal. tanks with minimal water and screen lids. They need a specific humidity level to prevent respritory disease. Their pet suplies are good quality and their prices are competative with the bigger stores in their area. I was pleased with the fact that they have female rodents. Every other store Ive found only buys males so that you cannot breed your own, and therefore have to keep coming back. All in all, if you need a female rodent This is the place to go between North Cocoa and Melbourne! For anything else I would go to a different store, just because its cleaner and less packed. "Pet Ranch" on the Island is Much cleaner and has great prices too, just no female rats! ;-)

The Horrid Stench wafting out of this store should have been a grave clue to the poor conditions inside. i know that pet stores smell bad, but there is a difference between a well cared for pet store stench, and one that should be condemed. Ive never seen Sugar Gliders in Such poor condition for sale anywhere. half them were clearly sick and needed medical attention. they did not have proper housing, their food on the floor with poop and pee in it. they had no fresh foods, only dry food, water in a water bowl and not in a bottle (gliders will not drink from a bowl) for nocturnial creatures they had no safe place sleep out of the light. they were clearly stressed from the constant noise of the birds in the same room. they cages were rusted should have been scraped years ago. to be blantly honest this store has business being open. the only reason i would ever even think about purchasing a single pet from this place to give it a good home. but then i would be promoting his horrid care of the animals.

Bill the owner is paying for all these 5 star ratings. He is personal friends with these people who rate him so highly. Its not a fair rating. I was just there is is a terrible mess. Super clutered and all the animals are in poor condition. We quickly I eft from the disgusting smell. There were maggots in the gliders cage(i have two gliders and they dont eat maggots) and the birds had diseases and open sores. Im going to be contacting the authorities and the groups who defend animal welfare. This guy needs to be shut down I can not believe how he gets away with fake ratings and poor business practices. On top of all of this bill the owner came out behind us and started cursing us out with intense vulgar language blaming us for the fecal matter all over his floor. He was using potential customers as an excuse for his dirty store. Unbelievable. I have been here a couple of times & yea its a bit messy but he has a lot of stuff & a small space. I look at all the animals & fish & birds & they all look healthy. The birds cages are a bit dirty for my taste as i keep my birds cage pretty clean. But they are active and not losing feathers & they were pretty talkitive (tweeting). The fish tanks were clean & no dead fish. The small critters cages/tanks were clean & had food/water available. The owner was super helpful the 1st time I went in, 2nd time I went in he said hello & let me just mill about without bothering me. I appreciated that he recongnized me & just let me do my own thing. The store seemed a bit more organized my 2nd time in. I like this place & like coming in and looking at all the interesting animals, which were different each time i went. P.S. I dont know the owner personally & was NOT PAID to write this review. This is my personal experience & words about this pet shop.

Im sorry to say when I went in there with my son, immediately we noticed the stale smell and cluttered space with little room to walk through, it was dirty dark and musty in there. The birds were in a back room with the door closed with no window or natural light of nay kind. We left unsettled due to the way the man working there was talking to us though he did apologize and say his mother always told him he had a problem with saying inappropriate things and inappropriate times like when he laughs at funerals. The saddest thing, is after buying $8.00 worth of natural bird seed from his container, we took it home only to find it riddled with maggots. We will never ever go back there again. EVER. If you love your pet, stay away! I hate to write bad reviews, but this is simply unexcusable and a danger to animals.

I am disturbed by the conditions of this store. The rats had no food and where eating another rats dead body. The owner threw the dead rat into the river out back when I asked him if he knew they where eating each other. He gets the live rats out of the tubs with a net and comments on how disgusting they are. I love shopping small, but the smell and the fact that the rats had an un-noticed half eaten body in the tub with them made me sick.

The first few times I went there I actually liked it (besides the clutter), the guy is very helpful and has great advice. Then one morning we got there and we must of seen 50+ very large flies all over the walls and merchandise! That means maggots!! I feel bad for the guy because he is nice but unfortunately I wouldnt by livestock there. Welcome to the jungle! He actually has a sticker on the window that says this! Very appropriate haha.

I cant possibly say enough good stuff about this store. It is small and stuffed but you have to look beyond appearances. Bill, the owner, REALLY knows his fish, fresh and saltwater. His prices are reasonable compared to other stores and I have bought a lot of fish from him and they have NEVER been sick or died on me. He has very healthy tanks. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Ive gone to this pet shop since I was young and got all my pets from there. In my honest opinion its the best pet shop around. Good prices, exotic pets, and great owners. I love the place I am in there three sometimes four times a week. People judge by appearance, not by how it actually is. Didnt our parents teach us not to judge a book by its cover? Its a great place, check it out.

He was awesome! So nice and straight foward about everything. I bought some fish for my new aquarium and cant wait to go back for more! All the fish are sooooooo SOOO much cheaper than the fish at the Pet Supermarket across the way. VERY reasonable prices on everything! I bought some products for my new tank, 4 fish, some food.. and walked out of there spending around 20 bucks! Yay!
