I went to Zanzibar Coffee House after a tough week at school, between girls and grades I was long in need of a spot to hang low and unwind. Upon entering, I was immediately ass blasted by the rich scents of exotic and domestic coffee beans. The scruffy bearded man behind the counter looked up from his E.L. James book to welcome me into his domain. After perusing the menu for over three minutes, I decided on my drink. And after 30 seconds of waiting, I acquired the $2.49 medium Chocolate Milk. Before Zanzibar Coffee House I believed the holy grail was a just work of fiction, something to further the plot of Indiana Jones or Monty Python; but no, this chocolate milk blend blew me away with reminiscence of the final days of Christ himself. Not of the dark, dreary ending of his humanly life; but of his ascent into heaven, to be one with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Okay so i ordered a iced coffee and i get it and try to ask the lady like oh was i suppose to ask for cream and sugar and she was like you can do it yourself and points to the counter holding the milk and stuff and thats fine and all but why should i have to do all that? Like isnt it their job to make the coffee. At star bucks and dunkin they ask if youd like cream and sugar and if you wanted additinal amouts of it they also have a little table where you can add more. All they did was pour coffee over ice and said do the rest. The people working there didnt seem happy at all. They had no personalities. Now besides all that, i think it was alright. It wasnt bad by any means Just bad service. I also wish they had some sort of label that was catchy and memorable on theirs cups and other stuff. But thats just me

I was introduced to Zanzabar Coffee House by some friends of mine a couple of months ago. I come every week now and often bring various family members who also enjoy the excellent coffees, exotic teas, and fresh and delicious snacks. Not to mention the laid back and relaxing atmosphere; the Tanzanian decor is awesome. The staff is friendly and have answered a very wide range of questions I have had. I love Zanzabar Coffee House and I cant see myself as a regular customer anywhere else.

Terrible Iced Beverages. I was excited to have a new coffee shop in the neighborhood but was quickly disappointed when I gave them a try. The atmosphere is there, and the staff is friendly but they cannot make an iced drink for the life of them. My first visit I ordered an Iced White Mocha but ended up with an Iced Chocolate Milk. My second(LAST) visit I ordered an Iced Chai Latte and again ended up with a cup of Iced Milk

Adorbs comfy coffee shop with sweet African art, bitter espresso, artisan clean pastries and salads to go from Collettes Clean Eats next door. Brazilian name at pie was deelish, just a tad dry. The hot sauce was crazy good and they have chess and games. Outdoor seating area is expansive. The lovely ladies at the front were super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back. Recommended for food.

This is a small local coffee house. I am not a coffee house kind of person but this place is very nice. Its smaller but clean, welcoming, and you can sit inside or out. The staff have always been very accommodating. If you are not a coffee expert they are happy to suggest something for you based off of your likes. Ive only been here a few times but it is very good

I meant a girlfriend there for coffee. I got the flavored tea of the day and it was great. The sandwiches and pastries all looked really good but I did not try any of them. The atmosphere is really cool and its nice to just have a coffee shop other than a big name coffee shop. It was filled with students talking and doing their school work together.

This quaint unassuming locale pleasantly hides a modern take on African decor. Complete with a tribal-themed chess board, cultured wall adornments, and bowel-inducing espresso blends; this location also boasts an authentic Zanzabarian flair: their discrete temporal tracking chronometer (aka clock). Also the coffees good.

Very comfortable, relaxed coffee shop in the historic district of Longwood. I love the location with ample amount of parking. Decently priced coffee and lots of options. Employees were friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. Easy place to go and grab a cup of coffee and maybe get some work done.

Finally- a cute little coffee shop in the Longwood/ Sanford area. They have a nice selection of tea and coffee. The atmosphere is nice and pretty quiet, with a long bench with cushions to sit on along the wall, a few high top tables and outdoor seating.

Im not a coffee person, but my wife loves this place. Weve been in four or five times now, and shes always happy with the flavored coffees she gets. The owner is frequently the one serving up coffee, and the fact that he cares is very evident.

Although no one showed for the esoteric meetup, Im glad I decided to check Zanzibar out. The chicken curry and hummus were very good. Pleasantly surprised by the African peanut soup. A relaxing atmosphere where you can hear yourself think.

Easily the best new coffee shop in town. Cozy relaxed atmosphere, great coffee, fantastic local food, and unparalleled style. Ive frequented nearly every coffee shop in Orlando over the years and so far Zanzibar blows them away.

Found Zanzibar on a trip to Longwood on business. The Apple fritter was delicious and sweet, but not overpoweringly so. I also enjoyed my frozen coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Hope to return soon!

I liked the decor and the fruit bar was good. But the refrigerator or something is making an awful high-pitched whine that is driving me crazy o.O Ill probably stop by again, maybe its a temporary problem.

Good coffee and a nice atmosphere. I like strong and bold coffee and theirs is not that strong. But the flavor was good and very smooth. There is plenty of comfortable seating, both inside and out.

Gorgeous decor! That alone will make you want to sit for a while. But the coffee is good too. Tried a latte to start, and Ive got my eye on a spicy brownie too.
