Former Army, and currently a competitive shooter. I have been to over 400 shooting ranges. This one is the only one i have felt the need to write a review for. It is extremely unorganized and in disrepair. I took my family i was visiting here because they had a 50yard rifle range. which is fine to teach how to use thier rifles. However the lighting at the other end was so dark i felt like i needed NVGs. It is an obvious mom and pop shop which is great and i whole heartedly support, but it is so cluttered and you have no idea who to talk to since the employees walk all around plain clothed. No kidding we spent 15 minutes all 5 of us trying to figure out who to talk to. Also they have BY FAR the highest prices i have EVER seen for weapons and accessories, $35 for a lula ar loader. $1800 for a Beretta arx100 5.56..which normally goes for 1300 to 1400... you dont even want to know how much thier pmr30 was and i paid 420 for mine...To each thier own i guess. I hope they see this and realize they need to clean up thier range, get better lighting, make thier rifle prices at least NEAR market value and get a shirt for the employees.

We visited The Gun Shop on our holiday from England, having been there on our last trip two years ago. The shop itself is very well equipped, the range facilities are excellent, and all staff are helpful and friendly. I took my three boys along (9, 7 and 5 years old - nearly 6) to shoot for the first time. They all had an absolute blast and it was an experience they wont forget for a long time. They took their targets away, and Im sure theyll want to show and tell all their friends when we get back. In between shooting the two that were in the viewing gallery were obviously waiting around (supervised obviously - I didnt just leave them out there!), so to make things go that little bit sweeter the owner brought out some cookies for the kids and even gave them a hat on the way out. I would highly recommend a trip here if youre coming to Florida, whether its with kids or just adults, for a comparatively low cost experience you wont forget. Thanks to all at The Gun Shop - well be back! Visited May 2016

This is a great gun store. Employees and owner are all polite and informative. I am an actual customer that purchases products form them and will continue to bring them my business. I will apologize for the review an employee left in this review section. "Dirty, strange place. Looks like the people live here. Witnessed the owner cursing And confrontational towards a customer. No, thanks - hotheads with firearms." This is not an accurate description of this establishment. This was a comment from an impatient employee that I sent to deliver materials to the establishment not doing his job as directed to and arguing with the customer (The Gun Shop & Gun Range) Please do not lit this employees review effect your business with The Gun Shop & Gun Range. This driver no longer works for our company.

The customer service was Excellent, very informative and knowledgeable about all types of firearms. There were very intune with my needs as a customer. I sat back and watched while there were working with other customers and noticed the same curtious and helpful service. I knew then that they were for real. I have been back multiple times to buy Guns and Ammo and accessories. There range is great, it is indoor and very well lighted, They have several different types of shooting matches held through out the month. I highly recommend The Gun Shop to anyone who is either intrested in purchasing a firearm or getting into the hobby or any seasoned shooter looking for some Honest advice and extremely helpful staff. I personally drive three counties over just to do business with them only.

Firearm retailer and indoor shooting range. The indoor range is fairly clean and $15 to use the range is fair. There did not appear to be a staff member dedicated to monitoring the firing range (range master) while the range was in use so one must police themselves and I guess hope everyone else does the same. The store is generally well stocked and there were several nice pieces in stock such as a custom Glock, an H&K SP-5, Tavor rifles and others. The store is reasonably cluttered. The owner seems to be a bit of a pack rat as there is a lot of junk laying around. The staff was friendly and answered any questions/helped me view what I wished to. Prices seemed to be fair. I would give them my business and only knocked off one star due to the disorganized nature of the store.

Gun store with huge selection of handguns & rifles along with an attached shooting range. This should be a 4/5 star rating. It isnt because of the unbelievably poor, negative attitude & actions of the Owner/Manager. Im being very kind here as the proper descriptive words would make this a profanity laden post. Lets just say I went to purchase a handgun, cash in pocket. Sales person helping me was great. I was going to buy but the donkey of Owner/Managers behavior led me to walk out of store. I purchased handgun I was looking for at another gun store, which had just as good of selection, lower prices & a friendly staff! I Wouldnt Waste My Time Here for anything other than to use the range if you dont have a better option.

The day I went they were very busy. The young man at the counter was very friendly and extremely attentive to each and every customer. The cost was 16 dollars a day. Nice and simple range with well marked distances. I shot about 300 rounds and on the last mag my gun jammed. I took it to the counter where the young man knew exactly how to get me sorted out. He made me feel important and showed me the foul round that caused the jam. He assured me it happens all the time and I left with a lesson that should it happen again Id be able to fix myself. They seemed to have a wide selection of rifles and handguns in the shop. A-plus and a must visit if youre in the area.

This place is great, when you purchase a gun you have just joined a family. Awesome customer service, I purchased my first shotgun (used Winchester Model 1200) from Gordon, soon afterwards the spot welds connecting the slide to the bolt broke. Gordon immediately offered to repair it at no cost or give me full credit towards another gun of my choice. Gordon is honest and will help you make the right choice based upon your needs. If youre not looking for customer service and prefer to deal with unexperienced sales associates and dont mind giving your money to Khaled Akkawi Shoot Straight is the place for you. Semper Fi
