Ive been getting tattooed at Atomic tattoos in Lakeland for almost 4 years now. I cannot say how much I love everything about the company and the specific location that I happen to frequent. Ive never once been mistreated by any employee that has come and gone over the years of my doing business with them. While they may have had unscrupulous employees in the past, honestly, what workplace doesnt? They are a sound company chain that will weed out the unprofessional artists that come to try their hand at the tattoo industry. I couldnt possibly recommend any tattoo shop more than Studio 8 in Lakeland. The guys at that shop started out as just guys that I paid to sling ink on me, but I now consider most of them some of my closest personal friends. All of the artists at the Studio 8 location are professionals, each in their own medium. If you want great customer service, a nearly-sterile shop environment, and awesome ink, go to Atomic. (Specifically Studio 8 in Lakeland, FL. Couldnt see bringing my business anywhere else.

I came to Lakeland for college and I have thought about getting my lipped pierced for like 2 yrs but I never really had the opportunity to get it done. So I stopped by one night and as soon as I walked in i loved it. The atmosphere was amazing and I was helped immediately. I had all my questions answered and everyone was so funny :) So I was helped by Art and he did my piercing and it was amazing! It didnt hurt, he always asked if I was ok and everything was so clean. I dont know what these other people are saying cause I had no trouble and everything was great :) I would recommend anyone here! And I am going to continue going there for everything ! :)

This place really made me mad. I had to sit for half an hour to watch the tattoo artist call his "wife" and smoke before he would even look at what I wanted. Then in the middle of my tattoo he threw the gun down and yelled at me for moving. Um, Im sorry the tattoo is on my ribcage and at points, it hurts. If he really was a seasoned tattoo artist, he should be able to deal with things like that. Overall, everyone was really unprofessional.

I absolutely love Atomic!!! I was so nervous about getting my Nipples Pierced, but I met with Aaron a few days prior to getting them done, and it was amazing how nice and professional it was there. Ive never been to a better shop before!!! I would recommend Atomic to anyone, especially if youre wanting anything pierced. Aaron was so fast and nice. It was such a relief having such an amazing piercer and I will be returning.

I love everything about this place! they have good humor, a very clean environment, and Talented tattoo artists. My boyfriend and I both got tattoos there for my birthday, and they were negotiable on prices, and patient as well. Everybody there was really laid back and I do plan on returning to Atomic to have more ink done!!! You guys rock, keep up the good work! :D

Art is an amazing person and pericer. He hooked me up and had great conversation I never laughed so much. It was the best experience Iv ever had in a tattoo shop. I highly recommend him I will deffently being going back to him for future pericings. It was by far the best. If you dont go to him then your crazy. Shoose him before anyone else. No lie hes the best.!!

Mike Torres is amazing! Love him! My son passed away in Dec. 2016, and my daughter and I have gone to him several times to have tattoos done, that my son drew. He drew them exactly like my son had. He listened , and my daughter and I are incredibly happy with them!! He is a genuine, great , caring person!

Went in to set up appt and the person at the front desk was very uninterested in my business. Barely acknowledged me and I had to ask to see a certain artist books. Very sad customer service. Work could he great but Ill never find out. First impressions are very important.

Went in for three forward helix piercings. Not one matches the other. All at different angles, not evenly spaced. They should be angled so the back is hidden, but I can see the back of all of the piercings done here. I recommend not getting any piercings done here.

Atomic tattoos is the only place to get tattooed in central Florida period. Matt and Dane are the most professional and creative artist. The customer service and final product is top notch. If you are in the area you have to get some work done by these guys!!!!

Extremely friendly, and clean shop. I have been collecting tattoo work of Artist Jorge River. He has by far surpassed my expectations. Together we have made permanent my story through his creative eye and unique techniques. Go to Iorge ..do it

Awesome shop! Any time I have been in it not only looks clean but smells clean too. Last time I was in my husband and I got tattoos by Mike and he did a fantastic job. The staff is great and we definitely plan on going back in the future!

Very nice dude did my smiley piercing. Had a good conversation with him and he made me less nervous. However, the piercing its self is crooked. Nothings ever perfect but its very noticeable so Im a little unhappy about that.

This place is the furthest from horrible that you can get. I got a tat from there a few years ago, looks like I got it last week. Im headed back to Florida for a few days and definitely hitting them up for another tat.

Great service! Didnt catch his name but was very nice and funny while doing the piercing, really good at keeping you relaxed. He was very clean and it was a very sterile environment. Highly recommend!

Best place to get pierced. Got my nose pierced by Art and was so nervous, and he was the absolute best. If youre new to piercings or anxious at all, just ask for Art because and hell take care of you!
