They DID NOT stand by the Toshiba "CRAPTOP" they sold me (I paid it off too early), AND it was not only USED, BUT I WAS BAMBOOZLED BECAUSE I WAS CHARGED FAR MORE than a BRAND NEW ONE! The hard drive crashed less than one hour of my first days rental, (2 weeks with a loaner, turned into 4 months), I NEVER WAS REIMBURSED for my carrying case, and I was given some BS story about how my keyboard LCDs were "NEVER" supposed to light up. (Uh, no... They never worked right in the first place. No one ever returned my calls, and when I PAID EARLY, BIG MISTAKE MIND YOU, I WAS NEVER given papers of ownership. Toshiba will NOT warranty this LEMON! So, I have a $1300 LEMON... Oh, did I mention its REFURBISHED AND WAS NOT "NEW"??? This is a place only for people who have crappy credit, and have no INTENTIONS of paying for your stuff and dont want to answer the door, not people who INTEND to pay off your rent-to-own. Not only that, but now the hard drive is crashing again. Its too bad they shellacked me for all my money AND HAD THE COLIOGNES to charge me LATE FEES??? For what??? I paid this off EARLY!!!!!!!!!! I just want my money back, and they can use the laptop for a door stop, or maybe a boat anchor or something...

I just perused the first few recent reviews, and I agree! My wife and I have known Tom for almost a year now (give or take a month or so), and he has always been fair and honest with us. He is a no-nonsense person who is candid - yet very sociable and friendly. From a business perspective, he is very professional and has again always found a way to provide us with very attractive and financially sensible deals on all of our items we have rented/are renting from him and the local store. Not only Tom, but the entire staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Delivery has always been prompt and highly appreciated! Finally, the store is always clean, brightly lit and cheerful! My continuing appreciation to Tom and staff and my wife and I will continue to enjoy their "going out of their way to do right" attitude!

I have known Tom Lewis, the current manager of this store through doing business with Rent King for over 15 years. I was using the Lakeland Fl. Store until Mr. Lewis transferred to Haines City. He has always taken very good care of our appliance and furniture needs throughout the years and Ive never had an issue with his service. He is prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable in available items. I have been a customer of the Haines City store for almost a year now. I switched shortly after Mr. Lewis left the lakeland store. I recommend this store highly everybody is friendly and helpful. I look forward to many more years as a happy and satisfied Haines City Rent King customer.
