Yesterday I had some work done by Will Mills and I am nothing but completely satisfied and pleased. I am not from FWB and what I was asking for was more than a general "walk-in" request. Yet from the moment I walked into the shop, the woman at the front counter was helpful and willing to discuss what I had in mind and connect me with just the right artist. Now I would like to address some of the complaints made against this particular artist as well as the shop. First: One previous client made a post suggesting that Will was sexually inappropriate towards her. I feel that, as a woman who was inked by this artist in a particularly sensitive area, my comment regarding this should carry some weight. The work that Will did for me, covered my left ribs and reached as high as the underside of my breast. This being said, when I walked into the room to prepare, Will NEVER asked me to remove my shirt. In fact, Will was sensitive and polite when I suggested that it would be much easier to just take it off. Furthermore, when I realized that my bra was going to be in the way, Will made every effort to help me find a way that I would NOT have to remove my bra and then offered me something to cover up with when I again said that it would be easier to just remove it. Long story short, I laid completely topless in front of this man for more than three hours and he made no inappropriate comments, made sure I was comfortable and in the end decided not to take a picture of the work because he felt that it was a sensitive area and I deserved respect. Second; and this is regarding both Will and Tattoos Forever in general: These men and women are artists. They quite literally make a living by using your and my bodies as a canvas for art that will last a lifetime. Furthermore, we pay them to do this. That being said, no one should complain because they have been advised against a particular tattoo or the placement of said tattoo. In the end, the decision is not yours alone. This work, although it is on your body, is the artists reputation. If an artist suggests that your decision is a poor one, that should be your first indication that he/she is a great artist. Back to Will, he took the work that I requested and made it far better than I ever would. He made an expert decision regarding the appropriate size and placement to enhance the image as well as the outline of my body. Trust a good artist and set your pride aside... this is a lifetime commitment that you are making together. Thank you Tattoos Forever

I seldom take the time to write reviews, but this one is definitely worth it. I got my first body art at Tattoos Forever in Fort Walton Beach a little over 2 weeks ago. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Before finding Tattoos Forever, I researched artists all over the South (New Orleans, Savannah, Miami) until I came across Alberts portfolio on the shops website. I was impressed by his great use of color and happy to find a very talented artist not too far from me. With that said, I emailed him a few details of what I wanted, and a few questions. He answered my email in a timely manner and suggested that I come to the shop to consult with him before hand. That totally earned points with me and I did just that: called and got a time to chat with the guy! On the day of our chat, I visited the shop (nice, clean, friendly front of house staff) and explained to Albert that the design I had in mind meant a lot to me, as it was a commitment to my faith. I was committed to drawing it myself, was still working on it, but not sure on the final design yet. I knew I wanted my handwriting and a few colors of my choosing added to it, but it was a work in progress at that point. Albert was very attentive, understood what I wanted, and one advice he gave me was that I did not use yellow on my final design, as it would barely show on my tone of skin. So I went home and with that in mind (not using yellow), I worked on my final design. I trusted Alberts advice and within the color scheme I was working with, instead of yellow I used orange. I returned to the shop with my final design on the appointment date, and Albert was just great from beginning to end: methodically put the final pieces together, was detail oriented, kind, patient and down-to-earth (this last one I appreciate so much! Brought a level of comfort to the experience). And boy, was he right: the tattoo has healed beautifully, and I am so glad I did not use yellow... the orange color looks very good, nice and light, but it had been yellow, it would have barely shown. The tattoo itself has made me so happy: Albert absolutely incorporated all the elements I asked for, the lines are beautiful and the gradation of colors are quite pleasing to the eye. He did AWESOME! I definitely recommend Tattoos Forever (everybody I interacted with there was super nice!) and recommend Albert as well. Thanks, man! Best to you all!

There are A LOT of tattoos on miracle strip, but this one is by far the best. I visited every single one, and tattoos forever was the most professional and the most friendly. I came in on a Monday and was greeted in a timely manner by their piercer. He is the sweetest guy and was excited to help me out. He gave me pricing information and sat with me while I looked through the artists portfolios. Since I originally wanted a very small and simple design, he told me the best time and day for a walk-in. Later in the week, I had changed my mind about the design and wanted a more intricate one. I came in on Thursday evening and met talked with someone behind the front desk (again, very professional and friendly) who suggested that I make an appointment for the following day. Even though the artist I wanted, Justin, was pretty much booked for the entirety of Friday, he was able to fit me in since my appointment would be a shorter one. The piercer came back out and even went as far as to sketch out my idea so the artist would have more of a reference when he drew it out! Justin then came out to meet me and discuss my design. He was excited to work with me and very friendly! He even helped me expand on my design. The price he gave me was extremely reasonable. You have to make the appointment in person, because they do require a deposit to hold your spot (This is the case with most tattoo shops). I came in on Friday for my appointment and he got me in right on time! He let me bring someone back with me and had friendly conversation with us the whole time. He was gentle and reassured me that I could ask him to stop if the pain was too much. He gave me great tips on how to take care of my tattoo, etc. The tattoo came out beautifully. Justin works quickly and is very thorough. He made sure that it came out exactly how I wanted!! This place is amazing. I will definitely be returning when I vacation here again next year! Thank you guys!
