I decided that it was time to get my first tattoo done and started doing some research on the web looking for local shops in the Indianapolis area. I and my husband went to several places to check things out and see what type of artists were in the area doing tattoos. Out of all the shops we went to this one was the cleanest and had the friendliest people. I spoke with Sean about what I was wanting done and where. He asked me a some questions about the style and type of tattoo I was wanting. After explaining what I wanted he said it would be no problem for him to do it for me but it would take a little time to draw up the design for me to see to make sure it was what I wanted and the size I was wanting. He then showed us around the shop and explained how they did things. Everything was very clean and sanitary and Sean did not hesitate to answer any question we had for him. We were very impressed. I got some examples of the type of work I was wanting done to Sean and he created an amazing custom tattoo for me. I got it done the next day and it was an amazing experience. During the appointment it was very apparent that my comfort and satisfaction were his main concern. He explained everything very clearly before even applying the stencil what I could expect to feel during the lining and the coloring and even the after care that would be needed. Sean used a stencil for part of my tattoo and the rest was done free hand. He made very certain that I was happy with the size and location of everything before starting anything. He loves what he does and it shows in his attention to the smallest details. My tattoo is absolutely amazing. My husband is now planing on going to see Sean at Irish Ink for his tattoo work. I would recommend Irish Ink to anyone wanting a custom piece of art done.

For my first colored ink, I wanted a female tattoo artist. I didnt really have a reason... Just a feeling that a female hand would be best. I walked into Irish Ink in Greenwood and was floored by the beautiful art of Brooke Hume. I still need to go back for my touch ups, but I think I finally understand the concept of having one artist for all of your ink. My past tattoos have been done in all black, and I never used the same artist twice. Most of them are scarified from heavy handed artists. But Brooke really understood wanting my new ink to look organic (its a blossoming lotus flower with an OM on a center petal), and she did an absolutely amazing job! My girlfriend even got her first tattoo from Brooke! Brooke and I have talked about future art I want to get, and with her skills as a painter and artist in general Im practically chomping at the bit to get in the shop and under her skilled needle once again! I really cannot properly describe how amazing it makes me feel to have such a beautiful piece of art as a part of my flesh. I got my first tattoo in 1998, and I really cant imagine getting ink from anyone else (unless Brooke recommended them)!

i went here to get my belly button pierced, the girls name was shelby that did it(tried to) and she pulled the clamps off as the needle was halfway in my belly button and took her hands off everything and freaked out...i dont think she has a clue what she is doing. there was another girl there named heather that took over and fixed my belly, she did a great job taking over. word was that she quit because of the owner taking advantage of her. where ever that heather girl goes i will definetly be sending people her way for piercings!

Seth took on doing our sister tattoos for me and my two sisters close to closing time. Needless to say we are about poking fun and always looking to have a good laugh and do not live in the Greenwood, Indiana area. He was very accommodating and professional. His quality of work was MORE than I could have asked for. He was willing to let loose a little and have a little comical banter with us! It was great! Cant wait to go back and see him for some more work very soon!!

If you want art that you can be sure is like no other then visit Patrice Williams at Irish Ink. Give her your ideal and sit back as she literally pulls the image out of your head and transfers it to paper and eventually your body. Patrice Williams is an art Prodigy with talent that other artists can only dream about. If you want a unique tattoo that you can call your own then come down to Irish Ink and get it from the best artist in the world, hands down.

I guess some people try to resolve things by lashing out in verbal anger. Show me a business that can please 100% of their clients and ill show you a million bucks. This place DOES have amazing artists and does high quality work. You will leave happy. I personally know the owner Mike, TJ (my tattoo artist) and Patrice, the most amazing artist ive ever met. These people are some of the best in the feild and led by a true leader, Mike. James M

Unprofessional place, they love to reschedule a lot, waste of money and time for unfinished work, my wife quit piercing there because they are claiming her work to be done by their new kitchen piercer named shelby, i never tried to send people there for tattoos, before my wife quit she was the only professional person in that shop at all times. WILL NEVER RETURN FOR ANYTHING EVER!!!! SKIN QUACK DOES AN AMAZING JOB COMPARED TO THIS SHOP....

I received my first tattoo from Patrice. I absolutely love it. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she drew it up with her own spin. It looks awesome. Everyone in the shop was so nice and they all made me feel comfortable. The shop is clean. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Irish Ink and especially Patrice. Now that I look back on it it was a really fun experience.

I got my second tattoo with Patrice. She is absolutely AMAZING!! The shop was awesome, everyone was friendly, and made me feel welcome. I was very pleased with the personal customer service, and they made me feel as if my tattoo was as important to them as it is to me. I would definitely recommend going to Irish Ink!!! Very fast piercing. Bret is super knowledgeable and shared tons of information about the proper care and techniques of the type of piercing I got. I am a woman who wears the hijab and did not feel awkward or out of place at all. The atmosphere is clean, inviting and creative. Ill definitely be back.

Brooke Hume did my half sleeve there. She put her own spin on it and so far its looking amazing!!! I dont know why someone would neg them so bad, this is one of the most professional shops Ive been in, and Ive got 11 tattoos from different shops!
