I came here for a small walk-in tattoo on my arm. Im happy enough with the tattoo itself, but disappointed with the level of professionalism in this environment. When I was called back to be tattooed, the artist didnt even introduce himself to me. I still dont know the guys name, and he didnt ask mine. In fact, I dont think he said more than 10 words to me the whole time. There was also a random guy (not an employee) hovering around me the whole time I was getting tattooed, asking me questions and making comments, and this could be avoided if there were separate rooms or if the artist had drawn the curtain. When he was finished, I did not receive any aftercare instructions whatsoever. He didnt tell me, or give me a paper with instructions or anything. Ive gotten pierced here twice and the experience was a lot better. I will not be coming back here for a tattoo again. I like to make a relationship with my tattoo artist and it was clear that that wasnt the artists intention.

Very unprofessional customer service. I payed for a tattoo that was done by Peter. Prior to the service He stated that he charged $120 an hour. He thought at the beginning of the service that it would take him 2 hours to outline an existing tattoo. The outline only took about 45 minutes. He charged me $200 then stated that it was left up to him what he wanted to charge. Although I understand you can charge what you want, dont quote a price and then go back on your word at the end of the service. Then state "its left up to the artist what they want to charge". Your word is your bond. This experience was very unprofessional and for this reason I will not return again. Positive word- of-. mouth is a very reliable marketing tool. Peter allowed a difference of $80 to cost him hundreds in the long run from potential new clients, by not honoring his word.

Only giving 2 Stars..... The tattoo artists are great! The piercer sold me the wrong size plugs! She even measured them infront of me and at the time I believed her just cause of not knowing how the measuring process was done. But now since I know how to PROPERLY use a measuring wheel and have gone to 2 different shops we all came to the same conclusion. Wrong size.... theres 40 bucks down the drain...

I brought my eager, yet very nervous nine year old to have her ears pierced today. Misty (I am hoping I remembered her name correctly...I am quite awful with names) walked us through the entire procedure, and was VERY patient with her. This place is extremely professional, and I was comforted knowing my daughter was having her ears pierced in such a clean and sterile environment. Thank you so much!!

I was visiting Birmingham decided to get a piercing.Called the shop to make sure that the piercer will be in the guy said YES. I get there maybe a hour later and NO PIERCER. I caught a cab way across town basically for no reason. And one of the employers had nerve to tell me that she had a family emergency so I should understand. WHY WASNT I NOTIFIED OF THAT WHEN I CALLED

First time ever going to Evol and I must say the experience was great. They made you feel welcome. I had my daith piercing there and the piercing artist was really cool. She made you feel relaxed and calm. She went over how she piercing was going to be done etc and i felt no pain what-so-ever. I recommend this place for first timers

A few months ago I walked in with my boyfriend who was inquiring about an apprenticeship. Was totally dismissed by the three guys working there like he wasnt good enough or something. One even said "We wouldnt want you" I was planning on getting a piercing but their attitude towards him made me take my business elsewhere.

John did my artwork and it turned out great! He tweaked what I originally wanted and made it even better. The staff was very knowledgable and wanted you to be happy with the longevity of your art. It was very clean and the music was great! I definitely recommend getting piece done by them

The hours they had listed on their website and the door said they were open until 8. I showed up at 6:30 and the door was locked and nobody would let me in. I could see people inside and when I called their phone number, nobody answered. Awful customer service would not recommend.
