***UPDATE*** tried to follow up on the $50 Amazon gift card I was supposed to get for test driving a new vehicle - had given it to Chris B. to submit on day of the first test drive (Wed 27 July)... he never submitted it - I left messages at the dealership for his boss Jamie 9 days after the test drive - no response. Couldnt reach ANY other supervisor or the GM, tried MANY times. Eventually texted Chris B. the following day (6 August) to say it had not been submitted and could he please follow up. He texted "Will do". Today, Monday 8 August, (12 days after test drive) STILL not submitted so I texted him again - he replied "...dealer holds the right to refuse any redemption. If you remove the 1 star review...we will redeem the gift card..." Nice little blackmail touch there Nissan! Its more important that this review stays here to WARN PEOPLE ABOUT NISSAN than it is for me to get the gift card promised. *******Now, heres my review, the one they want me to take down**** Dishonest, the old bait and switch routine - Nissan by mail invited me to this supposed VIP event where huge discount offered on a specific new Rogue (VIN specific to me, price was $13,219 plus taxes and dealer fees). Test drove a new Rogue S on 27 July with Chris B (salesman), loved it and said Id be back on Friday when the event started - was really excited to get my new Rogue at that price! When I arrived on Friday 29 July 4 pm, that vehicle apparently had JUSSSST been sold (of course!!) - but luckily for me, Chris put together another "deal" for me on a metallic grey Rogue S, which I test drove and liked a lot. His new quote however was several thousand over the original offer on my VIP invitation, which I was unhappy about (total was over $20k). My trade in (07 Nissan Altima) didnt qualify for the full trade-in value on the invitation - which I understand but didnt expect it to be such a low offer - but he also told me how I didnt qualify for all the other discounts (Im not a recent college grad, dealer communication, whatever that means, none of which is written on the invite. When I asked Chris to show me where these exclusions were written on the invitation, all he could point out was the sentence "All rebates and incentives to dealer." No idea what that means.) Anyway, I asked for a copy of the new quote. Chris asked me why I wanted a copy - to show my husband of course. He refused to give me a copy, to my surprise. Why write out a quote then refuse to give it to me? What a waste of my time. I feel it was a dishonest ploy of Nissan, the invitation was just to get people in there, I never saw the VIN-specific Rogue assigned to me, so I dont even know if it existed - it was a very bad experience all round - and now, because of my honest but negative review, they are refusing to honor the Amazon gift card!!!!. Im just ashamed of myself for falling for the old bait and switch routine. I thought I was smarter than that! Not only will I NOT buy from Nissan Ft. Lauderdale, I will NEVER buy a Nissan again.

Let me start by saying how disappointed I am with the level of service provided from this dealership. I regret giving my business to this place. If I can go back in time I would have NEVER signed anything here. I initially wrote a 2 page review but let’s sum up the crap service. - I knew more about the car than the sales person - Sales guy had no personality and didn’t explain a single features to me - I had to YouTube how to use the remote start and other features - The numbers (payments) were wrong, I was at the dealership for about 3 hours after making an appointment the day prior - I had to miss out on dinner plans thanks to this - I was handed off to someone else during the sales process - No one followed up with me after I got my car - The first follow up I did get a week later was because they messed up my paperwork. It was done with the incorrect VIN # and after going back & putting unnecessary miles on the lease (I live 25 minutes away from the dealership) I asked for a fuel up as a courtesy for the inconvenience, didn’t happen - My car apparently came with stuff I was never advised of causing me to spend unnecessary money - One of the “perks” was 2 free fuel ups, when I asked about this I was told it’s only 1 left because they fueled it up when I got the car. Stupid, obviously if I’m purchasing a car it should come with gas. - I was told I can come back to pick up the registration for the car once I turned in my other car, I called to do this, left a voice mail and didn’t hear back until 2 more attempts where the finance lady finally helped me I’ve worked in training customer service and sales to businesses for the last 8 years and have never experienced such mediocre service. I’d be more than happy to teach some skills that will actually make customers happy with their buying experience because clearly this dealership is lacking in that area. My last dealership was awesome, they synced my phone through the car, offered a month of complimentary gas an car washes, called me to see how everything was going periodically & thanked me for my business. I didn’t go back only because they didn’t have the car I wanted. At best I can only say I kinda got the price I was hoping for, everything else was a headache and I only wish I never came here. I tried emailing the "Executive General Manager" my complaint in hopes that someone would address it or at least apologize, a month later Im still waiting. I tried to give this place an opportunity to resolve this but they dont care. I will make it a point to steer everyone AWAY from this place and save yourself the disappointment. Youll never hear from them after getting your car and if you do its because they messed something up and they absolutely do NOT go above and beyond to make customers happy, they do the bare minimum necessary to get your business.

Santosh Suggu
This is Santosh Suggu, one of the customers who purchased a car from Fort Lauderdale Nissan dealership (12/31/2016). When I visited their dealership, we were offered a $500 visa gift card and the $25 Amazon Gift Card when purchased, which I havent received till now. I have been trying to reach them and the manager as well innumerable times but its in vain; I can guarantee that the team has informed the manager too of my calls to them. I, once, was lucky enough to get a hold of him, who then promised to mail the gift card in a day which has passed by already distantly. I chose their dealership since the team sounded genuine about the offers discussed, else I wouldve chosen a different one who proposed the same price with different offers. I must say that I am highly disappointed with their service and their men who pestered us with all the benefits and conditions but have failed when it came to execution. Their team was all over me till we bought the car and now proved it was only a hype to make a sale. The dissatisfaction will remain with respect to their and will not recommend anyone of their service. What baffles me is that we were promised the gift card even when we asked repeatedly and now I am told that the representative doesnt know the details of the sale he made. I can only see that not just the service but also their training procedures are not adept and they have an amateur sales person. Heres a suggestion: Do not trust their words and make sure to get everything in writing before signing up with this team even after verifying repeatedly.
