I use to live a block away from this store so would frequent after leaving work for the last minute things I needed (ie. soda, paper towels, toilet paper, etc). The manager is a total a-hole, the other people that are there working are great, helpful, and friendly, except when he is around they really become non-communicative, maybe because he is a slave driver towards them? He is definitely a stick in the mud though, and not very pleasant towards anyone... He seen me IDK how many times there, cause upon first moving into my home, like many others when moving, I was on a tight budget for the first month, so would go to there to get the basic household products and furnishing. With them closing at 10 it made it a great place for me to get my last minute things after leaving work around 930, but whenever hes there at closing time he starts chasing people around the store at 930 letting them know its been another minute and they are closing in 29, 28, etc. I work retail in the mall and have worked retail for years in many places that people do last minute shopping all the time (including doing alcohol sales on Clearwater Beach, in a store that closed at midnight, which was the alcohol cut off time) and can tell you stalking your customers will only irritate them and cause them to take longer, and def not want to come back. They were hiring for a management position when I was looking for a 2nd job, but knowing how the store manager seems to be, I opted to not apply. They get some decent products in but there are some I wouldnt even bother to try/get/etc such as their razors, deodorants, pic frames, animal food, some cleaning & household products, etc. I personally have used Dollar Trees form of CLR and will continue to use it in my cleaning as it does save a lot of money then reg CLR, as well as their dryer sheets... for the most part though I just get their household products and holiday stuff as elsewhere would cost me much more. This place is great as long as the indian manager is not around. (and no, Im not making a racist comment, I am giving you a heads up on who to look out for, because in no way am I racist).

Dollar Tree at 928 Patricia Avenue Dunedin FL 34698 is the worst store in the entire planet. I bought 10 deoderant sticks there labeled Clear Scent and when I got home 15 minutes and opened one of them to use them it was gone. And I opened the other ones and they were also gone. I immediately took them back and showed them my receipt and I spoke to the racist manager there who called me a liar and refused to give me any store credit. And accused me of melting the deoderant sticks if I understood him correctly because he spoke very broken English and he kept yelling at me and calling me a white boy. I just left the store. I lost $10.72 at Dollar Tree because the have defective products. I dont want anyone to make the same mistake shopping there as I made.
