Folks, when I am in a new town in the USA, I always seek out the Dollar Tree. They have a decent range of toiletries, food and other supplies (often well known brands) at the standard price of $1, whereas the same items in the supermarkets are often 50% or even 100% more. So get what you can from Dollar Tree before you go to the supermarket or pharmacy for what Dollar Tree cannot sell for $1. The store policy is to always greet you on arrival, something bigger stores hardly ever do. The Dollar Tree most recently visited in Davenport, FL was well up to the standard. All other so called Dollar Stores, either sell rubbish or charge well over $1 for most items.

This location seemed very old and run down. The smell of the store wasnt to pleasant either. I probably wouldnt buy food here. But its still a basic dollar store which serves a purpose for basic needs such as for cleaners and odds and ends.
