Googled "Total Wine & More Weekly Ad" and found a good deal on some Platinum Vodka ($11.99). Went in to the store and it was $15.99. Asked the manager (Dont know his name, but he was the only Indian guy) and he said it was $13.99. I showed him on my phone where it said $11.99 and he refused to look into it further. Later, 2 other people got involved and we figured out the ad was from a different state. That was my mistake and not the reason for the poor rating. The reason for the horrible rating is as follows: 1. Terrible customer service! The manager and girl were very snippy and condescending. The other guy seemed to be the only one with a sense of professionalism. (I wish I knew his name. He should be manager.) 2. There was a list of 20 or so mis-priced items! Even though my price was wrong, they still had 2 different prices. In fact, while I was talking with the manager, someone else was complaining about wine being mis-priced on the shelf. Mistakes happen, but something seems fishy about that many mistakes. I suspect bait and switch tactics. 3. The overall prices! I went to the Tampa store all the time when I went to USF and always had a pleasant experience. However, the reason I went there in Tampa was because that was the best choice there. In Clearwater, you have stores like Luekens and B-21 with the same variety, more friendly and knowledgeable employees, and much better prices! Bottom Line: This Clearwater store is nothing but trouble! There are so many better options!

Never had so much difficulty with a total wine but this one. I am 22 and look very young for my age. I am a regular customer (living college life). They id me right when i walk in the store like Im trying to buy underage. They also will interrogate me at the register saying things like "you sure dont look 21" and "wow you look 16"..."is this a fake?" I waited the 21 years required to buy alcohol and once I do, I am given such a hard time by ONLY THIS TOTAL WINE. Also my license had expired a week ago and I tried to buy alcohol and they denied it. I know it is the law to have a valid license, but i could have just asked the next person in line to get it for me, thats not against the law...im 22. I bought alcohol that whole week and no body said anything about the expiration. They are just not accommodating and rude and will never shop there again.

I love Total Wine stores but this location makes my experience a hastle. I like to try new things so I usually buy the spirit of the week or items on sale that Ive never heard of. These are all clearly marked with sale stickers and yet, for the second time now, Ive gotten charged full price. I called to confirm and I was overcharged AGAIN on my items. Todays cashier was Nicole. This isnt cool Total Wine. As a cashier myself, I know its not that hard to price adjust when the sticker is right in their face but they should also have an idea of what products are on sale. You can keep your extra dollars this time. Ill be driving to Tampa from now on.

Went to this store the other day to get a few things and found everything I needed. My problem is being harassed by the lady manager with dark hair. My ID is bending (but not cracked or broken and still in one piece) and she rudely said "you need to get a new ID" and I said "No I do not its valid and in one piece" and she went on to tell me "Well I can refuse your purchase" so I will not be returning to this store because of this rude women. Go to Lukens down the street, its cheaper and their staff would never do this. I was a regular customer there and spent a lot of money at this location and that was a huge turn off.

This place has a huge selection and thats the only thing I like about it. I came In with a friend who then had to leave because of an emergency, I stuck around looking for some new whisky and when I came up to the register they refused to sell to me because my friend left and cant physically show them her ID. Its one thing when your friend is sitting in your car waiting or outside but when they leave and you still refuse to sell, then you dont deserve my money. Not coming back.

Great place. HUUUGE selection of everything! It is a warehouse-sized, grocery store style establishment with everything you can think of, and for great prices too! My beer of choice, Sam Adams, is here for $7.50 per six pack and they have over 10 types of Adams to choose from. That aside, they have thousands of types of beers, wines, and spirits to choose from. It always takes me forever to leave this store!

Consistently very clean, great selection for the area, and not too busy. However, the staff is always a little difficult to find and not as helpful as other stores. This doesnt interfere with the great shopping experience unless youre just looking to pick someones brain about what you might like next.

Went in asking for a Spanish Tempranillo and had my pronunciation corrected. Unfortunately the wine steward was pronouncing it with the double "ll" as an "i" as the Mexican pronunciation rather as an "i" sound. Hard to establish credibility when he didnt know how to pronounce it. I wont be back.

I bought several bottles of craft beer at this location, and later found out they overcharged me by almost $20. I had to drive back almost 20 miles round trip in the pouring rain to correct their mistake. This was even though I was very close to their other location. NOT customer friendly.

My favorite store to go to where you can get the sample size bottles. Like to buy the small bottles to try see if I like it, if I like it will get the bigger bottle. Also if u buy wine u dont like you can return it. I like the selection of single beers and have a great price.

Bud Melba

They seem to have everything here. If you dont have an idea of what you want you could easily get lost in their seemingly endless selection. I would suggest asking for assistance from their staff. They have always been helpful to me whenever I have needed it.

Im not a wine drinker, but I am a big fan of obscure craft beers. If you like to try new styles and brands then Total Wine wont disappoint. They have tons, and it is hard to choose what to bring home. Ill definitely be back.

Great selection and friendly helpful staff. This is the closest Liquor store to my home but that is not keeps me going back. They are genuinely nice and willing to help you choose something or locate anything you may need.

Love the chain but not this store. Certainly not service oriented (or I am actually invisible). Not well lit. Felt dingy. On the plus side I was finally able to find the product I was looking for and its not a common one
