Very disappointed..I thought I was in kohls department store because the prices were rediculously high.The dresses were $12.97 for obviously well used dresses, most looked very worn out and old. I thought I was imagining things when I looked at the consistent over pricing throughout the store...The prices are incredibly high. .thats why I notice there were sooooooooooooooooooooooo many dresses( rows upon rows) because no one is buying the items. They are simply piling up because the dresses are so over priced. I refuse to buy any of them and left the store within 20 minutes. True story...my grandson wanted to buy a pair of shades in this store today, that were scratched up real bad, the cashier said to me the manager was not going to go down on the price, I reminded the cashier there was no price on the shades...do you know this GW charged me $2.16 for a pair of childrens sun shades for a 6yr old that was so scratched up you couldnt even see out of them, but to a child he doesnt really discern that. I spoke to the supervisor and asked her is she was aware of the negative reviews customers were saying about the store on social media/online . Her answer was NO. SHE said she wasnt aware of what others were saying.., but told me corporate makes their prices.I know thIS IS NOT TRUE because I travel all around the US and I go to GW, LOTS OF THEM, AND never have I seen these outrageous prices at a regular GW.. dresses AT OTHER GWs, usually cost just a few dollars m a little over $5, and the boutiques can be higher understandably. ......the shoes in the Brandon GW were even higher.. $12.00 for a pair of used slip ons with NO NAME BRAND..I am glad I was passing through, I left and will never return. However I feel for the local people that donate to the store..I am sure they dont know their items are being resold at a crazy prices preventing others from buying the items at a reasonable price....if GW corporate is making the prices then it want ne long before another chain comes along and shuts GW DOWN in Brandon. GW Corporate needs to visit the Brandon store, revamp the management team and get someone in there that cares about the community.... People, PLEASE DONT waste your time DONATING TO BRANDON GW, either donate to SA, or put an ad on CL in the free section for families that deserve nice items and will not be charged Macys prices..horrible management team at the Brandon GW and shame on you FOR THINKING you are a NEW DEPT STORE WITH EXTREMELY Unaffordable prices.....shame shame shame for defaming other GWS who price items to help the community. To the .CORPORATE TEAM, U ARE MISSING THIS STORE..U NEED TO GET THERE AND QUICK before the community STOP DONATING TO YOUR STORE...fix the prices and show the community you care about BRANDON FL goodwill.. The manager was cold and not friendly...this store is totally out of sync with other good will stores... Let Brandon management know they are not in HOLLYWOOD California so there prices should not reflect that

Sigo recorriendo todo godwill en la florida,la verdad los precios exagerados,la dependienta bien dezcortes despues de cobrarme un pantalon de niño que compre ya en la bolsa y ella mirando el precio parece que asombrada porque solo costaba dos dolares....yeah gasta yo me asombre de encontrar algo relativamente barato para este tipo de tiendas que estan vendiendo las donaciones por encima del precio que costarian en otras tiendas,esto no es una tienda de donaciones es una estafa a las personas

Its not a thrift store, its a Retail shop. You dont sell movies and video games for 6-8 bucks each. Especially if they are 15 years old. You can buy dvds at Flea Markets all day for 2$. You have playstation 2s with no cords, no controller, no nothing for 32 bucks.. Lol. Wow. Ancient electronics marked too high. A nunchuk for a Nintendo Wii is 6 dollars and 26 cents. Tiger Woods golf 2001 for the original xbox is 6.26 cents.. What? Yall get all this stuff for free... So you turn it around and mark it for crazy high prices.. Must be to pay off the new fancy building I guess. There are so many other choices in this area for an actual thrift store.. Dont bother. Its full of clothes overpriced electronics and junk. Not to mention all the New made in China crap they sell. To be fair.. Theyre are Goodwill stores in the are much better than this one.. Whoever is in charge of the pricing scale on inventory at this place is obviously clueless or off his or her meds.

My husband I are homeless and we came to Brandon from Sarasota,where it is illegal to be homeless.We have received vouchers for clothes,shoes etc.from GW in Sarasota/Venice but we get here to Brandon and we were told GW doesnt help like that.We couldnt believe what we were hearing.We needed blankets because of the recent cold front moving thru the area.The blankets were $15-$30 for used donated.I could go to Wal Mart and get New unused for that but couldnt afford either way.The manager was rude and colder than the temperature outside.She referred us to the church down the street which hooked us up with 2 blankets.Very disappointed in GW of Brandon,FL.Shame on them for taking peoples FREE donated items and charging an arm and a leg for them then making 100% profit but cant help the needy.Then what the Hell does GOODWILL mean?

This store use to be good, idk if they changed management or what, but now theyll post items with pictures from a eBay listing and ask around the same amount that eBay is selling an item for, first off if theyre going to do that they need to look at what the item "SOLD" for not what someone is selling it for. They have no idea what an item is worth. A very lightweight gold ring for $299? Like seriously they got free and want to sell $50 worth of gold is that for $299. They obviously need more training or theyve just become greedy. Also a used, broken, missing part pocket watch for $174 cause. Theres an eBay listing for $400. Like common get your stuff together goodwill should not be allowed to do that.

We routinely donate to this organization at this location and have always been greeted with enthusiasm and superb customer service. As matter of fact it has always been such a pleasant experience not the norm in our world today. Today not so much. An employee named Martin failed to say good morning and really seemed to be bothered by our donation to the point that I really considered putting the items back in my car and taking them to a different organization. Very poor customer service and very dissapointed in an organization that I believe has an incredible mission. Very poor representation of you organization this morning!!!!

Paid $21.57 each for jeans only to find out they were knock-offs and cant even be worn. I even asked the lady at the register if they were real and she assured me for that price, they are real. Was in route from 1106 East Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Fl where I purchased to Orlando and now they are telling me they will return them, but I have to drive 2 hours back to do so. IT IS ILLEGAL TO SELL KNOCK OFF JEANS!!!!! Now I have to spend $40 in gas to get there and back to get refund of $43!!! So buyer beware, this place is a definite scam. I will be contacting the police!!!
