The store is smaller than a Home Depot or Lowes, but it has a great small-town neighborhood feel to it. The staff is amazing, and they are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. These guys are down to help you with whatever, even if its a little bit off the beaten path. I needed to create a cheap 3-light kit for a TV commercial I was shooting, and the staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Kudos to these guys.

Everyone is always friendly when I go in to the Glover Park hardware store~ I dont get a chance to become overwhelmed looking for something because without fail I am asked if I need help finding something. The store is equipped with a handful of Hispanic workers in case a language barrier presents. Nothing bad to say about the employees at this store~

Usually, when I call, it gets answered on the first ring. When I go in, anyone can either give me the exact answer that I need or direct me to someone who can and does help me right away. Also, I like that none of the guys here have ever treated me like a "dumb girl" when I am looking for something to fix up our place :).

This is a great local hardware store thats big enough for most things you need to fix up your house. Glover Park Hardware is a very welcome alternative to Home Depot and Loews. Best yet - I was swarmed by help when I needed to do some plumbing work (I have never had this happen at Home Depot).

always great in a pinch, and if you call in advance they will put your item aside for you. the bus stop is right out front too and they have an excellent variety for most needs you could imagine relating to home, garden, or outdoors.
