Made a special trip there on a Thursday early afternoon only to find out they were closed. Locked up tight. No sign, no notice on the website, nothing. On the one hand, I could have called but as most people use the web these days a notice on the website would have been appreciated to save me the trip. At this point I doubt I will go back but my recommendation is that you call and confirm they are open. Two stars is generous, I think.

Ive been a customer for over 20 years they have great customer service, low interest rates, wonderful selection of jewelry, games, movies and other items. I wouldnt trust my keepsakes to no other pawn brokers. I recommend Crown to all my friends and family.

Great service. Great appraisal! You can even negotiate. This is the best pawnshop ever in DC. I was not able to renew or pay interest for one year and yet I was still able to get my precious item back. This is much better than other pawnshops in DC.

Pretty expensive place. The selection was fine, though I could buy everything in the store at a much cheaper price on eBay. Only come here if you are looking for something that you cannot find online.
