DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!! I bought a car for my daughter, told these crooks it was for my daughter and I wanted assure it was safe, they assured me that they would sell nothing but a reliable vehicle, especially since it was for my daughter. I am such a dumbass to have believed these SCHEISTERS. After test driving the car, I smelled burning oil. Ray assured me that he knew of the problem and that they planned to have it fixed (replace gasket seal) but the car was "so new in inventory" they had not had a chance to do so. I believe this CROOK and took him for his word. I took possession of the car and it shut down on my way home!! (no kidding). I called Ray and he said no problem they would fix it for free. One month later and three times taking the car in to get it fixed they CHARGED me for the sensor they said they would fix for free. Smell of burning oil did not go away. My daughter came home from school, I gave her the car and two days later it broke down. This time I took the car to mechanics that I knew that I could trust. $3,100 dollars later (Ipaid $6,800 for the car). The car is fixed. The honest mechanics showed me where the gasket seal, Ray claimed to have replaced was never replaced. In additon the valve cover had been cracked and instead of Platinum CROOKS fixing it, they pasted it with epoxy that had to be removed in order to make the correct repair. DO NOT BE TAKEN BY THESE CROOKS. I am currently seeking legal resolution

UPDATE!!!! I HAVENT EVEN PUT 6,000 MILES ON THIS CAR AND IT HAS SPENT MORE TIME IN THE SHOP THAN OUT! I have had problems from day one with this car! First was having smoke coming out of the vents, then the battery dying in the first week, the seat warmers didnt work even when they said they fixed the problem, the Sideview mirror knob was broken and literally pushed INTO the dashboard... when you try to use the rear defrosters with the radio on the radio turns to straight static! The power steering pump had to be replaced and now the turbo just went... I really thought these guys were stand up guys who wouldnt take advantage of a person trying to buy a safe, affordable car... boy was I wrong! Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere... After weeks of searching for the right car for me, I came to Platinum Auto Care. This place was clean and the guys were friendly and straight forward with me on what I wanted and what they could do to help! I highly recommend them! Not only did I buy a car that day, they also helped my friend who locked herself out of my old car at no charge! Haha! All in all best time car shopping ever! THANKS GUYS!

SCAM. These guys say that they have the best prices because they charge you a decent price for a car but then youll soon find out that youve been sold a lemon. A broken car. And you will have to pay MORE to get your car fixed on top of what you paid for it. These guys sold me a car with two major parts broken (Catalytic converters) and all 4 broken 02Censors along with a broken EVAP canister. I should have known something was wrong when they dropped my car off to me at 9 pm. My first day driving it the check engine light came on and I called the dealer, Rey and he said he would "take care of it". I brought the car in for a diagnosis within the warranty period (30 days after purchase) and he said hed fix it but was too busy. Now a couple of months later he refuses to fix it bc "its not his problem anymore". These repairs will cost me $2,000 with parts and labor. When I tried to talk to him again, nicely asking for his help he told me to "get the f##k out of his shop". Is this a business man to you? Dont let these guys scam you too!

Do not buy a car from here. I purchased a Porsche 911 here after having a pre-purchase inspection completed. Ray assured me that he would fix the three issues found on the survey 1) valve cover 2) drive belt 3) Oil leak. Ray also noted that the car would be fully detailed upon delivery. When I picked the car up it was not detailed but was clean and the driving belt was replaced. A quick look at the undercage showed no sign of leakage. A week later (less than 300 miles driven) the clutch began to slip and needed replacing. When in for the repair they found that Platinum had power washed the undercarriage and never performed repairs 1 and 3. Total cost of repairs over $5K with the clutch. Spend the money and buy elsewhere. Their prices are cheap for a reason.

This was my second automobile purchase with Platinum Auto and I must say that I was equally pleased with their excellent customer service. Still fairly new to the area (2 years), and lets just say the car-buying experience is a lot different up here than back in the Midwest. Went to a wholesaler, and that place was a zoo. Went to bigger dealers and just didnt get a good vibe; I didnt really "connect" with the salespeople, even after explaining exactly what I wanted, not to mention there werent many good deals nearby for the car I was looking for. At Platinum Auto, I got both: friendly, helpful sales people and a good deal. Its a small place, but theyre thorough yet efficient, and really good about breaking down all the expenses (and not adding on any). Definitely recommend this place (and wouldnt recommend many others in the area).

I will never go there again!!!! They can be good at selling cars but car care mecanic wize horribile. Terrible. I donot recamend. I paid alot of money for them to install an engine on my jetta tdi. They did a horrible job. I just had to pay another mecanic close to 1000$ to fix what they did wrong. Almost wreked my new engine. The most importAnte bolts that bolt emgine to trannywere missing. One of the motor mounts werent even tightend to the cars with halfof the bolts missimgs and lots more. I donot recommend. Do not go there they will charge you alot and do a really bad job. Horribledont even have words to describe the horrible job they did.

This was my first online experience on a vehicle buying from dealership,i purchased 2011 Jetta wagon and sent my payment but everybody was saying you have been scammed and you dont know what kind of a car what condition,The dealer was pleasure to do business with,They shipped my vehicle ,it arrived on time as they promised .Wow//Better than i was expected,they even did oil change and brakes for me..I registered in Ohio without any problem,Been driving my vehicle over 5 months now ,has been great since without any problems.I must say Thank You Platinum,And ill be look forwarding for another car purchase from you .Thanks Dan...
