I have been going to Stepney HW for almost 10 years. They have more of a selection of what you really need than any Lowes or Home Depot and they have expertise to assist you with a huge variety of projects. I cant tell you how many times I have gone in there not knowing exactly what I needed, and then come out with an education, the right part(s), and not a lot of pain or hassle. They have frequently pointed me to an inexpensive solution and helped me figure out some difficult projects. Stepney HW still practices the art of local hardware and Id recommend them to anyone. 5 Stars!

Called the store on a weekend after looking at their online website. I was looking for a high end Weber grill. They had it at the same price as all the big box stores but their customer service far surpasses them. They even delivered it to my home at no charge. I use them for Benjamin Moore paint as well.. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else. They have EVERYTHING you need in their store. Go by and see....

This is a legit - "old fashioned" hardware store - with skilled staff. The service is and friendly prompt. In fact, its almost valet-like service. You tell them what youre looking for - and theyre either getting it for you, or showing you the way, and staying to help you make your selection (if you need help).

A true Monroe landmark and alternative to the "big box" stores that have "hardware" sections. What Stepney Hardware lacks in selection and volume discount, they more than make up for with quality products and the customer service that only a true member of the community can provide.
